I didnt have dorm AC my whole Freshman year in West Laville Hall in '96. They added AC our 2nd year.

I have no idea about the guilt or innocence of Holly. LSU will be fine without him and probably better off without him at this point.
All that being said with the amount of delays it is almost like someone is trying to sabotage him.

They got 6 boys charged with illegal use of a firearm. 4 of those boys confessed to shooting. Holly and his younger brother are the other 2 they want to take a plea .

Canceled/postponed is basically the same thing. If the defense wanted this issue to go to trial they would have filed a motion to force the trial. No matter the outcome, most people will question the final disposition. People lose faith in the judicial system because of delays.
