I've known this kid since he was 9 years old. I was floored when I heard he was involved. To my knowledge he's never been in any kind of trouble.

For an innocent bystander to be hit 3 times seems unusual to me unless they were attempting to intervene. Maybe someone used the injured female as a human shield?
