He’s a smooth as butter. He’s gonna eat up AA.

Just bought 2 tickets for their Pensacola series in September. Sitting right behind the away dugout. My son’s going to be pumped when he wakes up!

I believe AA baseball is equivalent to SEC baseball.

AA baseball is much more difficult than SEC baseball. If it was equivalent to SEC baseball, Morgan would have already been there and guys like Brayden Jobert wouldn't be struggling in A ball.

Yeah, I was at their game on Saturday night, but of course, he had not gotten to the team yet. Man, I would have loved to watch him play. I've been regularly checking their roster over the past few weeks, anxiously anticipating this. My son and I will be excited to finally watch him play.

Congrats Tre! The road to The Show continues for him. Exciting to see!

AA is a completely different animal. I bring my kids to Pensacola Blue Wahoos games. Tanner Allen (from Miss. State) plays RF. If you remember, he was a hitting machine at Moo State. These past two seasons, his batting average has hovered around .220, and the Wahoos just released him about two weeks ago.

Jacob Berry also plays for the Wahoos. Just until recently, he was batting under .200. He's struggled a lot with pitch selection. I'm confident that he will figure it out, and he's already shown a lot more plate discipline this past month, but AA is a tough league.

About a month ago, we got to see Rhett Lowder (you know, the guy that was the pitching phenom at Wake Forest). Well, he was coming in with an ERA near 6, and he got rocked for something like 7 or 8 runs within the first 4 innings.

AA is pretty high level baseball. It really starts to separate the men from the boys.

Berry has finally been hitting like he was expected to. He hit .173 in April and .138 in May bringing his batting average through the first 2 months of this season to .155. From June to present he has hit .304 and raised his season batting average from .155 to .238

Yeah, for sure! That's why I had noted that he's finally coming around. It's been great to see, for sure. Berry is also a great dude... he talks to my kids after the games; signs balls, etc. He hangs around and signs for everyone lined up by their dugout.

It's just that I was pointing out how difficult AA ball is. It's entirely different from SEC baseball.
