It's a fun time. Same weekend as two years ago. Good Friday holiday and no game on Easter Sunday. Especially if you wanna hike in the mornings or breweries before and after games....

Actually Arkansas hasn't allowed 300 yards a game yet, while LSU has twice. Hope to see that changed this week...

I wonder how rare it is to only have two teams on all tournament team. Rivera hitting 3 homeruns got him on the list... he is middle of the pack for BA, OBS, SLG, and 9Ks for all shortstops at CWS. Went 2-15 against LSU including the blowout game......

I had free time and did some research.
Short answer is No, it hasn't happened.
There was one instance in 1985 where finalist Greg Swindell of Texas could have pitched against Miami. There is a video of Miami's finalist pitcher Raether coming in to close out the win. Could not find box score.
