He transferred briefly to OU in 2021, practiced a little for them over the spring/ summer and then came back to us. I thought he'd lost a year of eligibility but he popped up the very last game of the year.
Then he was off the team before the season started in 2022, with BK giving a short/ stern "he's separated from the University" type reason. I REALLY thought he was done at LSU then.
Curious to hear the explanation now.

I remember him going to OK then coming right back. But where was he the last season? And why was he removed from the team this last time?

Kelly never confirmed anything. The rumors were either team rules or something with academics. I don’t know if he attended school last year, but he didn’t transfer anywhere else. Maybe BK gave him some steps to get back and he handled them over the last year.

I was actually excited about him last year pre-dismissal. He has some juice. Likely our fastest RB. This is an underrated addition imo

I'm not predicting major success for Tre, but I will say he has some burst and speed. I just want to see it consistently and he'll get some minutes, and could surprise a few of us...

Not sure whats going on but I hope he gets back on track and turns out to be a great story.
The kid could’ve easily given up, dropped out, or transfered to a smaller level of CFB... But apparently he's hurdled whatever obstacle that was in his way to get back in good standings. Kudos

wasnt there some drama with his dad at OK? that may not be right but i remember somethin about family drama right?
