Beloso's slump gives a you good timing to let him sit and move Jones to DH. You can't have a two time all-SEC defensive team 1st baseman playing in left when the guy who replaced him can't scoop or catch.

LSU's pitching isn't good enough to sacrifice defense and give up runs because guys can't make elementary plays.

I like it. I supported Kling coming in last night to replace Jobert. I didn’t like the timing of no live action until then given the stakes.

If you want defense give Stevenson a shot. Better defender than Pearson and can hit much worse

Why not let Travinski get a shot at DH next weekend give him all the DH at bats and see if he can stick. I know Jones has struggled at 1st sometimes but for a freshman that wasn’t even a 1st baseman coming to college he’s held his own pretty good

CJJ should remove the entire team including Crews at this point. Put in Nick Paul, Ruddle and some guys who were just sitting all year. This is really bad.

I said it earlier I never want to see Little pitch a weekend again. If he's fricked up in his head go see a psychiatrist.

I think it's time Kling comes into the lineup permanently also. Can't forget that Johnson had him as leadoff batter to start the season. He wants him in there.

Stevenson, Pearson, it doesn't really matter as long as it's someone competent in the outfield. Neither are much of a downgrade at the plate compared to how Beloso is swinging right now.

This lineup shift doesn't really sacrifice any offense when you considering how some guys are swinging right now.

But it really upgrades your defense at a time the pitching is really struggling to get outs.

I really do hate how we sacrificed so much defense this season just with the hope of Jobert running into one.

This is the point when things took a downturn.

Pearson has played left 8 times this season. Kling in right, Pearson in left.

Agree.
Amazing how a change up gets outs.
LSU is like everyone else when someone can throw 1st pitch strikes.

Beloso isn't any better right now and both Jones at 1st and Tre in left is costing you runs

Making major changes on a day where nothing went right is a bad idea.

You can’t put multiple bad hitters in a lineup for marginally better fielding.

Kling has been getting more playing time recently. He's going to be playing every day down the stretch no matter if the rest of these changes happen or not.

The production Beloso is giving you isn't much different than the production Pearson is giving you. It's not as drastic of a lineup change as you're imagining.

ETA: Just saw the "marginally better fielding" comment. Not even close. This would drastically improve fielding.
