I agree. Let’s just cancel the season and focus on baseball and basketball.

Bright side: With all these coaching changes LSU should do very well in recruiting! No one is even mentioning LSU has a contender in 2018. We have a solid team and solid coaches. Future is very bright AND we have some marquee games at home next season. I like our chances....

The schedule is rough. Miami, at Florida with Mullen, Georgia at home, plus the gauntlet that is the SEC West. That plus we will be starting a new QB with new, unproven RBs. To be realistic, I'm expecting a similar season to this one. Slow start, finish strong. 9-3 or, if we catch a break or two, 10-2.

It’s going to take more than yours and O’s lame trash talk.

Bottom line, with the SEC once again becoming loaded with good coaches and program builders while we are stuck with a ceiling-position coach, the long term trends don’t look good for LSU.

Let’s talk specifics. The guy whose strength is supposed to be recruiting is set to haul in a passel of three-stars and LSU’s worst recruiting class in quite some time.

Saban, Mullen, and Gus we face every year anyway. Why isn't this mentioned when they talk about we're 9-3 in a weak SEC?

Couple years ago people were talking about Sumlin in the same manner of Tom Herman this last offseason. Bieliema was a B1G master who was going to turn Arky into the next LSU (btw, more than a handful paralells of his Arky team to a Miles coached LSU team, just with less talent: e.g. no adjustments in 2nd half in close games).

Mullen just happens to be going from a W opponent that we play every year to an E opponent who we play every year that averages a new coach every, by firing, every 3 years and who has been slow to adjust the changing recruiting landscape in FL (which LSU and OM helped shift under their feet).

It’s Ponamsky that pays people to spread pro-O propaganda, shithead.

Or don’t you pay attention?

And look up this current recruiting class’s ranking. But hey, I know you’re allergic to these little things called facts.

Hey Gump Homer cocksucker!

You obviously don't know shite about recruiting. There are no "facts" saying that. The recruiting cycle still has a long way to go before signing.

FYI three LSU three stars just got bumped up to 4 stars.

......and anyway, last time I checked, LSU had a higher ranked class than Bama so far for this year.

He's doing a poor job then. Sure seems like there's more paid "resistance" shitheads out there than O-sycophants and P-Shills. And your "resistance" pukes do seem a lot louder. As in never miss an opportunity to spin a good tale or take something innocuous and turn it into the apocalypse (e.g. Canada).

Are you eight years old?

But hey, Alleva loves gullible idiot fans like you; it means job security maybe for another couple years.

So hey, you’re at least useful in one aspect, when in all the others you’re totally worthless.

Dumbest shite posted here in a long time. O competes where it matters the most. On the sidelines and in the homes of recruits.

The coaching weak link in the west, with the top teams, is without a doubt O. Spin as much as you want, but three west coaches have taken teams to the NCG and O will have taken LSU and Mississippi to two meaningless bowl games bowls in five years as a HC.

undoubtedly our schedule is going to be very difficult next year. the SEC west, the toughest division in college football, is just getting tougher. it's called competition.

I will probably take the season off from this board.

if we had a veteran at QB I would fell a lot better. I hope Brennen can learn fast as we will hae to depend on him to pull some games out.

lastly, the good news is that jimbo ain't gonna turn his team around overnight, auburn will lose most of their starting OL (4, I believe) and MSU won't be as good. bama is showing cracks as saban ages and I believe we have a good chance of winning in baton rouge. so don't count out our Tigers just yet.

had to add POTENTIALLY, I agree w you that on paper it looks very tough, the opening w Miami does not make it any easier, but as you said, some SEC teams are losing some key personnel... time will tell

His words, my hope.

I hated les toward the end. You seem to hate O now. Yet I was always hopeful that just maybe he’d turn it around, but he didn’t. Are you at least hopeful O will compete? He just might.

Don’t talk to me about realistic; it’s about hope. Penn State probably didn’t have a lot of hope when their NCAA hammer dropped—yet they surely had some and here they are.

I’m just hopeful and enjoying the ride. There are bright spots and some not so bright spots going forward. Let’s at least see how he finishes.
