The fact that people upvoted this is incredible.... 1. Louisiana is a talent rich state and the only major university. Tennessee is not and surrounded by other large programs. 2. We have not had a decade of mediocrity, we have been a top 10-12 program. 3. No offense to him and I loved his effort but Canada just called a season with Danny freaking Etling as his QB, both our QBs on the roster have higher ceilings moving forward and we could possibly return every starting OL next year, so next year should be MORE productive than this year. So basically everything in your statement is ignorant. Congrats.

We couldn't win it when half the coaches in the conference were getting fired. Stars couldn't have lined up better for Orgeron and he fricked a potentially really good season up with Troy and MSU.

Also, Danny Etling has been our QB
If Danny Etling can win 9 games, I have faith in just about anyone else to do the same or better

Before it was attracting a coach to LA where you had to beat out just Saban (Gus was down on his 4 year contender cycle). Now prospective coaches have to go into the west competing with the likes of Saban, Jimbo, and Mullen (who is the real deal btw).
Leach is the only way out. It's all about doing less with more and giving that resourceful person the resources they need and letting the flood gates open. Like lobbying in DC, boosters have negative outcomes when they have the ability to influence ADs, and Leach doesn't play very nice/cannot be easily controlled.

We have RBs on the depth chart. While they are unproven, I refuse to believe we don’t have a horse to ride. And if you are worried about WR, I don’t know what to tell you, we didn’t exactly have world beaters as much as I Love Chark and Gage hustle. I just think y’all want to worry for the sake of worrying. The chicken little fan base we have is appalling
