There are legitimate reasons to question PM and Dunn, but saying our pitchers are always hurt is not accurate. We had more injuries than normal this year, but this year was an outlier.

But don't let facts get in the way.

If he ends up in college, he was going to ULL no matter who he got offers from. There is a family connection there.

I figured that was the case. He was the first in-state player committed in that class.

Maybe he was enamored with 75% of the fanbase wearing a goatee. I know that’s gotta be a draw.

Maybe he was enamored with that he wouldn't be having Tommy John or rotator cuff surgery after fall ball.
I know that’s gotta be a draw.

My understanding is the kid wants to play a position as well as pitch, and that won't happen at LSU. It may or may not happen at other universities, but, history shows it will not happen at LSU.

Except their ace had to have Tommy John so that doesn't really hold up.

Outside of Brendan McKay at Louisville, who has done that anywhere recently?

When there are two way guys, they're primarily relievers.

Kentucky’s SEC player of the year a few years ago.

Florida St just beat us with a centerfielder/closer.

We didn’t have LHP all year and Paul refused to pitch Cabrera who showed up on campus with a promise to do both.

the kid from University. Fastball 85 to 89 with 3 other pitches. And he plays first base. Probably why PM didn't want him he would take Willis or Beloses out of lineup to play.

Are you daft? If PM is bringing him on board to pitch, the chances of him being an everyday player and knock out either of those two is slim and none! Only way that happens is if the kid is hitting over .450 with a bunch of bombs ?? in there with it!

Aside from the occasional outlier, the LSU team looks much smaller than most of the other teams they play.

I'm a parent of four adults. I sat in the stands for about 9,000 games. At almost every game one of the parents said, "That other team is a lot bigger than ours."

It's generally not true, but when you see a Beloso, Cabrera, Garza, or Willis size guy on the other team it gets your attention.
