This is easily #1

Our OL has been garbage since O took over.

The fact that LSU has no semblance of a run game should be outrageous to every Tiger fan.

And our back 7 gets burnt more than Cheech and Chong because they are constantly confused.

O has absolutely done the job Alleva hired him to do, which is make the exact opposite program from the previous regime

Max looks like a deer in headlights.

I was actually hoping it would have been Myles, but he played a lot better than Myles did in game 1 last year as far as being a deer in the headlights. Also, Burrow was basically studying football and about as mature of a qb as a college qb can get, Johnson is like 19 and this was his third start. QB aint the problem, our WR's blew some game changing catches for points. ITs the defense, o line, and lack of RB's (which goes back to the o line).

True but what’s wrong with a fly route once a quarter?

I've been really disappointed in Stingley and his lack of effort and attitude last year and late in the game yesterday.

Who are the freaking leaders on this team?

I agree with this. Stingley can cover but he needs to toughen up on his tackling. He did make a good stop on the QB on the outside once, but he looked like a rookie on the last TD. All of our DB's and LB's need to play like (I hate to say it) Alabama's defensive team - they need to attack their tackles and make the runner know that they've been tackled.

In game adjustments

We have elite DL, elite DBs, and we are shocked that they gashed us in the middle of the field. Coach had no ability to adjust. Then we players were visibly quitting on the field, we did not sub-in someone who was dying to play and ready to give more effort.

We’ve had much better teams with much worse qb’s/offenses.
Its player preparedness and focus. O just doesn’t have the ability to implement that within the program. The training aspect. That’s what Aranda and Brady were so good at. That’s why the players looked so solid out there. That’s the main issue imo. They’re are many others obviously, but that’s not something that’s ever going to change. He just doesn’t have what it takes to sustain any long term success. It’s all above his head.

The darkest, shittiest shite stained spot I saw on the line was Shanahan. This guy is a 6th year senior or some shite with 2 years in the program and he is still getting knocked on his arse repeatedly. We absolutely cannot run the ball up the middle because of him and it still looks like he is having trouble calling out blitzes. One of the blitzes on the 2nd possession I think I watched our center and 2 guards block NOBODY while 3 dudes ran untouched to Johnson...

All of this. He is trash. He may be smart in the classroom but has no situational awareness and is weak.

Compliance

I'm sick of the Compliance excuse. Everyone knows LSU is a hard arse about it. I don't care if they smoke or don't smoke but if your job says don't smoke or you will be in trouble and that is what lsu football is to the players their job. For God's sake have some personal responsibility and don't smoke. Is it that fricking hard not to smoke during the season and sure im they get notice testing is going to happen.

No leadership
Oline is real bad
Tackling is horrible
Rb’s have zero vision
Play calling was garbage

Max did what he could, but will learn and get better IMO. But you are not gonna win games in the SEC without any run game and running slant routes.

But why are the players back there constantly confused? It was the same way last year with a completely different coordinator and the players are making the same mistakes in coverage again this season. The linebackers still can’t cover the middle of the field even though this season they have a dedicated LB coach who used to be a coordinator himself. So that means either the coaches can’t coach and aren’t teaching the guys properly, the players don’t have the capability of learning what they’re being taught, the players don’t give a shite or a combination of the 3. We were told after last year the coaches were old and not relatable to the players, younger coaches who could relate to them supposedly were hired and yet it’s the same nonsense as last year.

Stingley? All-American?

Had more major missed tackles (3--all leading to Touchdowns) than tackles or Pass deflections and quarterbck hurries combined (TWO). and only one of the two tackles was solo.

Ricks? zero tackles! all-american corner? nice pick, but that was about it.

Chip schemed them out of the game, as predicted. Left them on islands with the wide spread, then threw right over the middle.

Even when we lined up with 3 tight ends, corners made zero tackles. We lined up, said we're gonna run, and RAN THRU LSU LIKE SOFT, WARM BUTTER
