Why would you take that job when Jackson is most likely going to get fired after next season?

There have been rumors that Robinson wouldn't be on the staff next year for a while.

Really I've never heard that.
What's the reason why?

My post was half heartedly joking but Rapaport has flat out made things up before.

Faulk seems like a good bet for a replacement. Promote from within! We had our man all along!

There is an NFL Hall of Fame Running Back and former Tiger great living right there in Baton Rouge. It is time to bring Jimmy Taylor home to LSU

He is one of us, he has tremendous experience, he has the rings and he is in really great shape for 82 years young

DO IT ED!

The smart money would be to target Burns and let Faulk learn under him before Burton retires. This would meet our need and hurt our opponent.

But that's not how Ed rolls is it.

Robinson didn't get the Cleveland RB coach job. They hired Freddie Kitchens.

I saw where Kitchens was at LSU in 2000 for one year and that was Saban's First Year. Kitchens was a former Tight Ends Coach. Boy those Tight Ends's Coaches must be special!
