I'm guessing he didn't see the film from the Miami or Georgia games.

I'm having a hard time remembering, but... didn't we whip those 2 teams pretty handily?

We must not be any good then.

It's true,we haven't had 9 #1 recruiting classes in a row..

Thus our depth not that of Bama

exactly. Racking up yards on the ground doesn’t equal winning football at the highest level. This offense at least gives us a chance to beat the high level teams.

In watching all the games, the offense is clearly different than Miles era. The o line is not that great right now and the QB/WR execution is not always consistent, effective or efficient, but the scheme is different as they go hurry up, spread it a bit more and don’t pound the ball into the line repeatedly.

This team no different than Miles era teams

This team is much different. Not as talented as many of Les Miles' teams but much better coached.

Weak defensive line

Not the weakest but not the strongest either. There are some concerns on the DL.

No big play makers

But we've had many big plays by our WRs, Burrow and our defense (Delpit).

Zero chance to win vs. Bama

The chance is higher than zero. If it wasn't, why play the game? Just crown bama now.

No depth

Our starting 22 matches up well with bama. Bama has better depth than us.

If you force LSU to win passing, can’t do it

I predict we will have good balance. We will run behind Hines and Cushenberry better than he thinks.

So he's saying that playing a team with the back up QB having won a national championship, also been top recruiting class almost always, a legendary coach and with most of our team banged up or without best players is going to be a challenge; wow I am amazed with his insight!!!!

I’m sure there were plenty of reports that Purdue had no chance to compete with Ohio St. . . . and then they curb-stomped them.

The more we hear “ no chance” the better I’m liking LSU’s chances!

Ga Tech can execute that Triple Option offense and get lots of "stats". I do NOT want that offense

Again you are seeing what you want to see and flogging a statesman to boot. stats are just 1 measure, but someone mentioned rankings which is better and different than “stats”. Option teams like Ga Tech and Navy probably rank high in rushing stats, that their offense is an outlier is always mentioned, anyone that would just look at the stats and say that’s a better offense is not making a good analysis.

I said it was a "better" offense. Not that is was executing well.

Good for you however to win games like this you need production and execution so it’s foolish to rip national analyst for saying the production is good enough. The goal was supposed to be to get back to elite status not simply be a “better” style offense

I didn't do that

Well..as with anything...one must start at the beginning and go to the end. Elite status will come with the "better" offensive style. The execution will get better. LSU is better today than when Miles was fired. And, I was NOT on the "fire Miles" train, either. But, LSU is just better.

The offense is more diverse, but at the end of the day it's about production.

And don't hand me the "we are halfway through year 1" with the Slinger experiment. You don't survive at the top of college football with a Lou Tepper 4 year plan.

I like what I saw in the big games outside of a long stretch at Florida, but this week we will see what we've paid for with E. Hopefully, he has not only cooked up a good game plan, but also self scouted in order to not give away tendencies. Saban will eat those alive.

We'll see.

Maybe you are a sensationalist. I listened to the interview and it was not that bad. Good grief. You are probably a Trump hater as well.

Don't worry, it's the same idiots that said Miles offenses we're always the same. Even though it was diff under every coordinator. Can't criticise O.
