...now that LSU is locked in a NCAA Regional.

Should Skenes bat?
Should Skenes pitch on Friday?
Is Neal dead?
Why doesn't Jones bat cleanup?

We've been waiting on your collective wisdom. Please, don't hold back.

I haven't called anyone out but the sky screamers, negaTigers, and bandwagoneers. They know who they are.

Things you should know about the team that there is no need to start 100 threads on.

1. They strike out a lot (it’s ok they also get on base a lot and hit for power. Welcome to modern baseball)

2. The bullpen is inconsistent (this is not as ok. If they throw strikes they can be dominant. If not it’s going to be a long day)

3. Crews was in a slump but he is on an 8 game hitting streak and people want to keep saying he is in a slump.

4. Jay Johnson is terrible at replay decisions. ( He give Sean Payton a run for his money. )

5. The Tigers are a really good but flawed baseball team. (The hope is they can just mash their way through their flaws)

Relative to other SEC teams? They don't actually.

LSU strikes out every 5.28 plate appearances. That is better than all but 3 of the other SEC teams. Here is an eye-opening number. LSU has 463 strikeouts, 465 Walks plus hit by pitch (344 BB + 121 HBP).

Should LSU use any of their pitchers against 19-40 Tulane? Or should they just throw Tommy White or something

This made me smile. Good work.

The baseball gods are fickle. I'll not predict.

White's a little heavy, they couldn't throw him very far.

Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

By Jay’s own admission, a lot of times the call for a replay is more strategic and less to actually get a call overturned. Sometimes he uses it to buy time to get a reliever in the bullpen a few more warmup tosses, other times he uses it to buy a free timeout to communicate something to his guys, or to disturb the rhythm of the other team. Sometimes he just burns them at the end of a game because they don’t carry over and why not just roll the dice

Welcome newbies:

Us old timers welcome you.

Remember to panic whenever:
1. The other team gets a base hit
2. The LSU pitcher fails to strike out a side
3. The other team scores a run
4. LSU fails to score in an inning

Call the suicide hot line whenever:
1. The other team hits a home run
2. The other team takes the lead
3. The other team steals a base
4. LSU commits an error

When things get really dim:
1. Fire the coaches
2. Fire Scott Woodward
3. Fire Javi
