I was at that game too. We had the PMAC rocking that year. We got there early and packed the student section. Seats were better for the students then too.

That was an awesome season. I attended nearly every game and it was obvious early on that was a special team.

through the first half of the season, that team averaged almost 100 points per game; then they get into the NCAA tourney and score like 40 and get crushed by a bunch of farmboys

A drunk high school me was in the building for that one... Our crew rushed the court and grabbed one of the team's chairs. Somehow no one cared that a friend just walked out with it. Good times.

it was obvious early on that was a special team.
they turned out to be a really strong team. they made some good teams look bad.
one of my favorite tiger teams. If they would have had a real point guard & a little more bench help, they'd have been a final four squad.

That was a real fun team to watch. Rds and I were in the house for that one. Loudest I've ever heard he pmac after the funk dunk.

Awesome game! I was way up at the top and ran down before the game was over and we rushed the court.
