To all LSU fans who have criticized CBK nonstop, please sit down and shut up!

I never understood why some LSU fans criticized CBK in the first place when you consider the dumpster fire he inherited, but I think he's done enough to prove he's an elite coach and LSU is very lucky to have him as head coach.
Before CBK arrived, we were the laughing stock of college football and everyone's favorite homecoming opponent. In 2.5 years as HC, he's returned LSU back to national prominence and now has LSU playing some of the best football in the entire country.
To all those CBK haters, I think it's time to join the rest of the fan base in supporting the Tigers!

This is LSU. The standard is championships and no coach here will never be criticized. That said, let's give the man his due. This team is getting better and better.

So someone has to like Kelly to support the Tigers?
I’m not a Kelly hater, and the team seems to be improving, but let him win something first.
Quit pontificating

I hated him at ND. I didn’t change just because we hired him. But the direction he has the program heading and the 2025 recruiting class will lead him to a Natty. This team is good and will only get better next year.
The 2025 class is absurd. LSU football is back

He's not elite he's very good. He still can't win big games and seems allergic to balanced football teams.

I will admit, after an emotional high with the upset win in OT, the team came playing with purpose whereas in the past this seemingly is a traditional flat performance by the Tigers in Fayetteville. Kelly had the team prepared.
OP calling posters out mid season is retarded. Lots of big games left against some high quality opponents. It was just season before last where LSU was riding high and was beat down by an unranked A&M team to eliminate them from the playoffs and send them to the Cheez-It bowl.

This is essentially a brand new offense and defense from a player and coach perspective this year. It was always going to get better as the year went on. It sucks we had to play a decent USCw team to start the season, a game in which we shot ourselves in the foot over and over to lose in the final seconds.
Also, no one knew just how bad Matt House was, his year 1 defense was a massive improvement over orgerons final year. It was a top 20 defense in defensive efficiency. EVERYONE thought it was a good hire.
House cost us a national title run last year, that wasn't on kelly. If we had 2022s defense or this year's defense with last years offense you're looking at another 2019 team.
Kelly is a good coach.

I like Kelly and he has done a good job so far, but Kelly hired him, so ultimately, Kelly is responsible.
With that said, it"s looking like his Baker defensive hire might be a home run.

Name 2 better coaches. Kirby & who?? There’s not one.
He’s won a plethora of big games & has made a point for this team to play complementary football. How could you possibly say it’s not balanced after the last few games?

Major Burns improved play is a testament to his leadership.
Nuss learning to control his impulse to go for big plays is a testament to his leadership.
His ability to trust a great defensive staff is a testament to his leadership.
Keeping to less talented upperclass RBs engaged as he hands the ball more to Durham is a testament to his leadership.
Winning at USCe when most coaches lose is a testament to his ability.
Handling Pittman with ease is a testament to his ability.
Taking that game away from Kiffen took outstanding leadership and ability. Making Kiffen and Dart cry was a bonus.
We have one of the best coaches in the business

One game at a time… plenty of games left to change anyone’s opinion

Some of the criticism was/is warranted. But not the chicken little sky is falling stuff.

If he finishes this season at 10-2 or better ill never say another bad word about him

Kelly is technically responsible for hiring house. But to say Kelly could've know House's regression is wild. House was really good everywhere he went. Nothing, anywhere he went, or anything he did, would have told Kelly house would take LSU from a historically bad defense in 2021, to a top 20 team in 2022, to the worst in school history in 2023. Add in losing 2 defensive line coaches in the off-season and you had a recipe for disaster. Not to mention the 5 star and ACC all American busts at corner back, the injury to zy Alexander, our defensive team captain getting literal brain cancer FFS.
There were alot of things Kelly couldn't have predicted last year.
