I believe the number is 5 but no it's not a myth. Alabama/Auburn was on ESPN in 2014 because Alabama had already maxed out its CBS games for the season.

The Iron Bowl ended up on ESPN a few years ago because CBS reached their limit on Alabama games. So it has come into play recently.

Somebody once posted Win/Loss statistics based on day vs night games, and it was astounding! Numbers show, Tigers play much better at night.

How many times did LSU play Southeastern or ULM or Tulane at 2:30?
That stat will be skewed because the rent-a-wins are always at night.

The reason the Tigers record is soooo much better at night is, TV has never been interested in broadcasting games vs. heavy under-dogs and rent-a win type programs....it's just that simple !

I love the 230 slot for away games. It sucks waiting around all day feeling anxious for the game to start when you don’t have tailgating to distract you. Seems like it takes forever lol

I have no specific hate with 2:30pm personally, just the "high noon" sun that comes with that time of day.
