Also, feel free to scroll through the tons of LSU band footage on Youtube where "STTDB" is used (but filmed from a non-SS vantage point). Most of the people in the video are laughing...or even sometimes saying it themselves.
It doesn't keep songs from being banned any less.

2005 IMO was when the student section began getting weaker

It's only been a couple of years since my time, but the student section really has gotten lame as frick. STTDB doesn't really bother me, but the overall rowdiness of the student section has gotten worse the past couple of years.
Waaaahhhhh!!!! They're too rowdy someone do something!!!!!!!

2007 the student section was rocking for almost every home game. Since then it's few and far between.

You may want to check your reading comprehension bud.

Entirely too long to read, yet you guys are an embarrassment to humanity, an absolute abomination. Every night when you fall asleep God looks down on you and struggles with the option to allow you to continue to live. He shrugs, shakes his head, and raises his hands in disgust.

Some friends and I were talking about this at dinner after the game Saturday. We were students from 97-'01/'02 and some until '04/'05 with grad/med-school. Anyway, back before the '03 championship we weren't thinking about BCS shite in September and October. We were just hoping to win that game on that night. There were no expectations. We've experienced a great deal of ups and downs as fans.
Now, flash forward to your average student today. An 18yr old freshman was 8 when we won that '03 title and probably more interested in Power Rangers than LSU football. Even if they got really serious about it in their teens, LSU had already won another title by then. My point: these kids don't know what it's like to lose. What it's like to be partying well into the night after a come from behind win against Houston. What it's like to snap a 30 year home losing steak to any team. Or even what it's like to not be able to see a game because you couldn't find tickets and it wasn't going to be on TV. It felt more like a privilege to go to an LSU game whereas they treat it as their right today. Times are just different and want these kids off my lawn.

You didn't use the word jabronie correctly.
A cussing drunkard makes a better fit with the word than a whining old guy.

Let me guess. You were at LSU from 00-04.

Any group of kids 4-5 years younger than you are going to be "lame as frick"
