That’s fair, but TJ did try to run multiple times. I remember when the rant was praising his running ability.

Not really, he can play anywhere he just needs to improve as I said, the talent is there.

Name the big time schools he can start at.

Just wonder if Myles doesn't go down and he has more time to develop.

End of the day, you likely lose him or Max if that’s the case with additions of Nuss and Howard.

I hope he does well wherever he plays next season. That said I don't think he starts. He's a good kid and there isn't a poster on this forum who wouldn't have wanted to play qb at LSU.

Yep. I confirmed this as well. He also won’t be the last LSU QB to do so

If Myles isn’t named starter, it’s in his best interest to transfer out.

The tards of the rant anointed him QB1 long ago and were once again, wrong

After his first game people on here were gushing about his mobility and arm strength and thought he was the next JaMarcus Russell. There was a lot to like about his arm strength but he was nowhere near mobile. I think he'll win a starting job somewhere. Wish him the best

Finley is going to be a really good QB. I understand his position and the reasons for his decision, but I'm sorry to see him go. Quality all the way.

Both of the freshmen were thrown into it last year before they should have been and before they expected to be, and Finley was the best choice early on. With a couple of years to develop he may be great. Good luck to him.

Confirmed from Finley

“TJ Finley confirms to @WAFB9Sports that he has entered the transfer portal and "I plan on taking a few trips to other schools before deciding where I will be attending"

No reason he couldn't go to C-USA or AAC and put up some big numbers for the next few years. He showed flashes against the best competition in the sport even though he was thrown into the fire way earlier than he should have

I think O knew the season was a waste last year and started Finley before Johnson due the social climate
(bullshite false narrative it is) at that time. You guys can say I'm an idiot but Idgaf, that's my opinion.

Man, Finley could start at Texas if he wanted to, and they sling the ball in that conference. But stop acting like this kid is devoid of talent, smarts or something that he can't play at a big-time school. shite, he already did it at LSU. Lol He passed all over 2 SEC schools surprising many people including myself, but then he ran into 2 even better SEC schools that just killed his momentum and dropped him back down to earth. I don't think the Max Johnson kid would have fared much better against a hot Auburn team at that time and a good Texas A&M team, both with solid defenses.
