Really like the guy. Hope he finds a home that can utilize his skill set. Best of luck TJ.

The tards of the rant anointed him QB1 long ago and were once again, wrong.
Semjase called the transfer a long time ago, before any of yall.

I said he would transfer right after Spring practice.

Good luck to T.Jandon Harrisley. (Brandon Harris 2.0)

His only shot at QB will be at a SWAC school....

Why are people on this thread talking as if TJ was a finished product? He was a true freshman thrust into a tough situation on a bad team and he had his ups and downs as you’d expect any true freshman to have. He had 2 pretty good games and 2 bad games and 1 okay game. That’s about what you’d expect from a guy in his position. Max and Myles are better QBs than him right now and it’s probably the right decision for him to go elsewhere for an opportunity to develop and get reps. He’s still got 4 years of eligibility left and I believe in the right system and the right coaching he can become a pretty damn good QB over the rest of his career. Good luck TJ.

Think everybody knew one would transfer out and it most likely was going to be Finley.
Now if Max is named the starter, does Brennan transfer out too?? Then we could be screwed.

Brennan could go to Baylor if that’s the case.

I agree and hope anyone wouldn’t doubt that. He likely has NFL talent just needs some development and time.

The fact he turned the ball over and wasn't quick with decision making. But hey, you race on, bro. At least now I understand why you liked Johnny Jones. Strictly skin color and because you're racist af

I thought TJ really played well last season given the situation. I think Max played better but TJ still looked like a potential SEC QB.

It’s definitely a #s game a QB so I totally get the move. Would Tulane potentially be a good fit.

Good luck to him. His timing was good. Given protection, he will be a good drop back passer somewhere.

But if he went to the sooners that would fit him well.

Yeah, Oklahoma is known for immobile pocket passers.

TJ is a good talent. If he’s patient he could take over the QB room at all but a few teams. But he has to apply himself and learn to read defenses and go through progressions. It’s especially important to guys like Finley, and Brennan, who are not going to make things happen by scrambling.

Seems like there was some factor that made a certain segment of the fanbase root against him. Just can’t quite put my finger on it.

Yeah, probably. And that same factor caused the same type of douchebags on the other side to root FOR him.

I’ll tell you what was odd - Hope. Out of the four, he was the one who had little hope to be the starter at LSU. This is because he was beat out by a QB in his class.

Brennan would be a fool to transfer. If he doesn’t win the job he should be the backup then a free agent in the NFL. Transferring won’t help him. He either has the talent or he doesn’t.

Max has to feel that the job is his either this year or next.

Nuss is a freshman, so he’s thinking that Max will go pro after his junior year if he’s good enough. If not, Nuss surely feels that he’ll beat him out.

Race is not what made him odd man out, as you implied.

Pernod pretty much how I feel about this whole situation. TJ definitely has talent and will start somewhere else. He had his chance just as Max did. Two freshmen started a couple games each and Max showed what it took to keep the job until Brennan came back. The difference I saw was that Max kept his focus and composure in the big moments and TJ did not. TJ is a streaky passer when he’s on he is on but there is no consistency. Good luck TJ

Sorry it didn't work out but he got a serious chance.
He was a freshman, for christ's sake! He just found himself in unworkable circumstances. Somebody will pick up a first-class QB to build an entire program around.

Although I'm a Tiger fan, I wouldn't mind seeing him at ULL.

He literally started 50 percent of the games in his time at LSU and had the most starts of any LSU QB in 2020. I would say that is being given a serious chance considering he was only here for one season.

I think TJ is going to be a good QB somewhere and I believe if he would have been a really good to great QB for LSU in the future. I just think Max is better right now and apparently so do the coaches and TJ himself. If he thought he was better than Max he would not be transferring.

The fact that he wasn't good enough to beat out the other 3.

Hope the kid has a great future ahead of him. I was kind of expecting him to be more like a Cam Newton type quarterback but he showed no mobility, nor toughness, that Cam had.
Got excited for him after he made the first start and performed well but after that his performance dropped significantly. Hope he finds the right fit!
