That statement is true of almost all P5 QBs

There was no way LSU was going to hold onto that much talent at QB at one time

Best of luck to TJ

You think their color is why they got criticized and not their talent?
Good lord some of you people are dense. Forget all the other black athletes that people loved but if crappy players don’t get universal praise it’s obviously because of race.

Idiot.

Because there was no alternative.

Looks at all the trash posts on this thread about how T.J. was morose or how he "sat by himself."

I mean, neither of these things are incorrect, from an outsiders view. The main issue is trying to judge his attitude based on a 2 second video clip of him on the sidelines. Some people can be full of joy and excitement and you never see it on their face.

IMO, TJ was a model citizen, great teammate, and perfect representative for LSU. I appreciate that and wish him well.

It’s like some of you don’t even watch the games or follow the program at all.

While I hate to see people leave I also understand that he has to do what he feels is best for him. That being said, he was the least impressive of the top 3 QB’s available. His arm strength is unquestionable, but his in game decisions were not great and it was obvious. I wish him the best and hope that he grows and has success where ever he lands

Take your race baiting trashy arse out of here. Jamarcus Russell, Rohan Davey, herb Tyler were all loved and supported here. The least talented of those being herb. The others were either completely undertalented to be here or were in a crap system from the 70’s. Jefferson was disliked because he chose to curb stomp someone in a bar fight a month before the start of what everyone thought was a national championship season. His selfishness was his downfall to the fan base

Damn. I really liked Finley's potential. I hope he balls out wherever he ends up. Seems like a great kid

Wish him the best wherever he goes, unfortunate for him that he fell that far down on the LSU QB pecking order, below Nuss?? That’s rough.
