I have been very critical of McMahon, but last night the effort was consistent all game, there were minimal poor decisions, and McMahon was pressing the right buttons.

All everyone wants is competitive and consistent. If they can play like they did last night they should have no problem being middle of the pack in the SEC.

So you don’t pull for the Tigers unless you like the coach? Delete LSU fan from your profile.

How could such a well coached, talented team, be a 12 point dog?
Something seems fishy.

F**k all you McMahon haters. You aren’t LSU fans. He beat a good TAM on the road. Anyone not fired up about this is a useless moron.

More people blame Woodward than McMahon.I remember when we beat a good Arkansas team last year to start the season. MaMahon needs to put a string of wins together before people start to buy in.

F that. I want us back like we were during the meat of Dale's era, the direction we WERE headed under Wade.

I'm not a big McMahon guy, to say the least. But if we start playing consistently like last night, I'll come around quickly. No way, should we ultimately settle for middle of the pack. Maybe this year but not as a rule.

I have defended Wade here, and still think he should be our coach. But if we can get a successful guy (and I hope it's MM, because he's here, and I'm an LSU FAN FIRST), I can forget about the general QUICKLY. I just want LSU to be like Baylor or better in basketball, and there's no good reason we can't get and stay there.

You can blame Woodward all you want but yo hate on the LSU basketball team because of it is childish and stupid. Beating TAM on the road is a huge win for this team especially the way they did it. Not saying McMahon is going to win the SEC but the idiots who try to downplay anything positive about this team and coach is starting to o look like a sick obsession.

Remember last year we won our first sec game vs a ranked ark team. Then never won another game

Pretty sure that we beat Vandy at home late last season and won the conference tournament game against Georgia.

But your point is noted as it sure felt like we had only won one meaningful SEC game last season.

This x 1000. The reason for all the Wade fan boys is everyone loved winning and the excitement with the program. We have seen none of that with McMahon. If he can build a winner (not mediocrity), then people will forget about Wade with swiftness.

Great win. pMAC was a morgue. Knocking off a ranked team should have it rocking.
