MB's upside is tremendous. However, he's still learning and not 100% ready for SEC play. Once this season ends it's his team. He'll be a strong leader and strikes me as the type of QB that will get in the face of the offense and challenge them to be better.

Let him learn this year and he'll be that much stronger next year.

I think Brennan is better than Etling, but he's more prone to make mistakes. I think if the game is close and he's not making mistakes, you have to stay with Etling.

The 3rd and 5 in the first quarter when our TE was open at the sticks but Etling was scared to throw it.

And when DWill was wide open for a sure TD and he overthrew him completely. How do you miss that???

A mistake would have lost us the game today.

Etling made plenty. I'm not arguing that Brennan would have been better, but "heart" and shite only take you so far. Etling had what, 3 or 4 passes hit defenders right in the damn hands today? He was lucky to not throw multiple interceptions.

It is simple. You can ruin Brennan if he is rushed!!!!!

With you completely. Not going to be a great season anyway probably. Lets get him going. Play him 50-60% of the time.

Etling has stones. I almost lost my mind when he missed Williams wide open early in the game, but the guy just continues to battle. He made some plays with his arm and feet today. I'll trust the coaches on who is ready, and who puts our Tigers in the best position to win FB games right now. GREAT WIN today, keep charging!

Etling's upside is too low. Myles can manage a game. He'll throw more INT's,

The main difference between this week and last week was turnovers.
If we turned the ball over on our 5 and then 2 picks today we lose again, but worse.

Myles will have his turn and he will start when he's ready. This is not a Les Miles team where the starting QB may not be the most ready.

Its been said numerous times he doesnt know enough of the playbook and his play set is limited.

But when hes ready, I'm all for it.

Thinking you need to go to bed so you can sober up. You are willing to cede one of the only things we do well (take care of the football) just to play Brennan. Don't get me wrong, I do think that offensively, Brennan IS the future of this program but right now he seems to be a pick six machine waiting to happen. He's still too green. The FUTURE is not now.

If Etling keeps running like he did tonight, we will be starting Brennan out of necessity. Etling may not have a great arm, but he has some huge balls.

It's time to make a change at qb, but O wont do it until his hand is forced aka we lose another game due to our one dimensional offense.

I like Etling, but the dude is overthrowing wide receivers who are sitting in the flat. His run game was more impressive than his pass game today.

Canada's play calling was pretty solid today, minus when they went in to ultra conservative mode at the end. If we can get an accurate passer in there, the offensive play calling could really open up. There's obviously a lack of trust by the coaches to put the game in DE's hands.

I love Etling but I agree especially if Ogeron is going to continue to hinder Canada's playcalling. We will need a QB who's gonna push the ball downfield and take chances even more in this perversion of an offense.

Stop it. I was terrified that they were going to put him in this afternoon and screw up the rhythm of the game like they did against Syracuse.

I understand the reasoning and what happened against Troy, but LSU doesn't lose that game if Etling the whole game.

He played the entire first half. He had 60 yards passing and LSU SCORED ZERO POINTS
