Only thing I'd point out is that the 20 points off of turnovers weren't 'gift wrapped' as you put it, they were earned by the Tigers by forcing mistakes...

This is the only problem I had talking to Oregon fans after the game.

The injuries to LMJ and Barner were unfortunate. I always say when that happens, that I hope they are ready for the next game. Hate seeing critical players get hurt. I had a feel LMJ wouldn't play the whole game though. I saw the same thing happen last year against WVU. Their RB was a small guy, very fast, great in open space, similiar to LMJ. But the hits add up when you have to run a guy all game long, and a lot of times with speed backs, they get dinged up. It was an injury that didn't look major, but those things always seem to take a greater toll on the smaller, quicker backs. I wish you guys the best of luck, whoop USC!

I'd say this is the most comprehensive crow eating I've seen from duck fans so far. Well done. As for the turnovers, we like to believe we forced them and you think they were mental mistakes. Even if we meet in the middle, I think LSU wins.

I think it's the exact opposite. He came no here just like every other Oregon fan and listed reasons why Oregon cost themselves the game. He kinda starts to try a little bit to give us credit, but then ends up reverting back to them "giftwrapping" turnovers and having injured players and guys cramping.

Your point about chasing down James, Mingo was the anchor leg on the state winning relay team in high school in the top classification - he has track speed

I was not worried about victory for the Tigers as they are always well prepared by Coach Les Miles. I was impressed with the intensity and desire of your ducks defense.
Just when you thought we had a good play going they really brought it to the Tigers. The Tiger defense did the same. To me, it was an awesome display for both sides.
I hope y'all continue to win games and have a great year.

As I stated, you are noble for returning. However, you made too many strides to try to protect the shortcomings of your team. Now, to the point we make about the SEC VS the PAC 12. In our conference, you'd play 4 or 5 more games like this. Your backs were already slowed by injury. Your freshman phenom can't be relied upon to hold the ball. Your team suffered cramps all night. With depth issues like this, you'd be out of the conference race by week 5 and wondering about next year.

Awesome post. Civil, concise and the clearest take on the SEC's overall superiority.

Perhaps your Ducks should take the field and try to play defense after a turnover...

I didn't realize points off a turnover were just automatic...

On the ridiculous total yards issue, which has already been comprehensively debunked by the Tiger faithful, I only add:

Weren't those "three times we fumbled" FORCED fumbles, results of fierce defensive play?

Exactly, the ducks got 3 points off our turnovers. We just happened to capitalize on turnovers a little better. UO played hard and nothing was "gift wrapped." Just face the facts that it was a great game and the better team won

Honestly... You just made a bunch of excuses. If you are going to eat crow, then eat crow.

Injuries happen. Players didn't play on both teams. Quit making excuses.

LSU killed Oregon, and it wasn't even close over the course of a 60 minute game.

Sorry, that is the reality.

DT played bad. So so did our WR's. Bottom line, are WR's suck donkey. They cannot catch a pass to save their lives. If it was not for some RB's or TE's catching passes we would be screwed out of any type of passing. Your D was indeed stellar. I always thought we had just as much talent(if not more, esp on the skill positions) then you and we were just as deep. It is clear to me now, we are not near as deep. And your talent was better overall clear across the board save a few skill positions, imho. And your Offense looked to be better then last year too. Keep in mind, Oregon's D is very underrated. You played a D in Oregon that was #12 last year in giving up points, where as LSU was #11. And we just could not stop the run most of the time. You pounded us. So actually, if we are only going by last year, you beat a really solid D in Oregon. Your Offense should be proud.
You could sum up the entire thing in these sentences. The rest of that is just a bucket full of excuses.

I've enjoyed the duck fans visiting our site for the past few months though. I hope you all don't become strangers.
