Have is a great word when used properly. Please learn the difference between have and of.

I can appreciate the fact that you showed back up and ate crow. I can also tell that you are clearly trying to give LSU credit for the win.
However, I reserve the right to disagree with some of your points. I agree with the other posters that your turnovers were caused by speed and aggressiveness. Yes, it was a freshman. But, freshmen are used often and especially in the SEC where you need to go 3 and 4 deep at most positions or you'll be forced to later in the year. We threw to true freshman receivers about 5 or 6 times in that game. You still can't cough it up. I can promise you that I wouldn't allow that excuse for our players either. You are either ready to play or you aren't.
To the point about LMJ being caught from behind. It is irrelevant whether he was full speed when he got caught or not. You have never, EVER seen that happen to him by a 6'5" defensive end. That play is designed to leave the backside DE unblocked assuming he is too far from the play to make the tackle anyway. The backside linemen block second level to disallow persuit from the backside linebackers. Mingo completely changed your blocking scheme on a single play. Was your player injured prior to that and it slowed him down?? Perhaps, but if your starter and backup were both hurt after 1 half of play, then either your backs are made of paper or there was a hell of a fast aggressive defense battering their asses.
As I stated, you are noble for returning. However, you made too many strides to try to protect the shortcomings of your team. Now, to the point we make about the SEC VS the PAC 12. In our conference, you'd play 4 or 5 more games like this. Your backs were already slowed by injury. Your freshman phenom can't be relied upon to hold the ball. Your team suffered cramps all night. With depth issues like this, you'd be out of the conference race by week 5 and wondering about next year.
These were all points we tried to make to you and your other fans before this game was played.
See what we mean???

Yes it did suck that our best Linebacker/hardest hitter was not playing for that game. And our All American CB/nations best Punt returner.
sucks having 3 starters out huh???

i substantially agree with everything you said. overall, your playmakers are small and the hard hitting wore on them. the type of offense you run depends on timing and needs a defense to react. our defense attacks and we have the personell to do that. because of that and the injuries you mentioned (thus requiring you to play less experienced players), you did not match up well with LSU (your O and our D). however, your defense is legit and then some. i was particularly impressed with your db's and their speed. ditto, your lb's. your dl did a good job also but because of our rushing success many do not agree. but y'all kept our per rush avg. below 4 ydss and i'll bet few teams do that this year (yes, even sec teams). one point about the type of offense y'all run; it is dazzling and it does tire a defense out (usually) and it is very unpredictable BUT it requires near perfect timing and a reactionary type defense to be successful. like a hi-performance sports car, it can need tuning at times and will sputter against the type of D LSU has. this is a killer in the big games against the larger, very fast and very aggressive defenses. IMO, kelley blew it in this game by not running your qb more; that is the answer to the agressive defenses like LSU. he either got outcoached or your 2nd string qb sucks. getting your qb hurt in game 1 can be a disaster.

anyone suggesting your DE is faster then him would be laughable however
Who is suggesting that?

LMJ is one of the fastest guys in CFB
Guess our safety, Brandon Taylor, is just as fast if not faster seeing how he ran him down while LMJ had the angle...

You do realize that a lot of these yards came at the end of the game when LSU was up substantially and playing somewhat of a prevent D right? Also, LSU didn't have as many yards primarily because of the D forcing short fields. You can say you are making no excuses, but then say fumbles cost you the game. I disagree. LSU dominated both sides of the ball, and had TWO 100 yard rushers basically. LSU completely dominated the second half of that game....turnovers or no, LSU had the best team. In all honestly, I expected a little more from Oregon. However, as your coach put it, LSU has a different kind of animal out there on the DLine....and, they will only get better and better this year......

Yeah i read about two paragraphs. Saw where he wasnt going to make excuses, then he proceeded to do exactly that. Went ahead and stopped at that point.

This is what I read. LSU dominated this game up front on both sides...Oregon has talent, especially in the backfield on both sides of the ball......but these types of games are won up front.....and with special teams...and LSU excelled in both.....that won't change with a rematch......this whole "more yards" thing is always comical.....bottom line is LSU shut down oregon until the very end when they were up big...and playing a little more prevent than i would like.....don't let late yards fool you.....trust what your eyes saw, and that was domination up front by LSU.....

Oh, so after the fumbles, your defense didn't come out onto the field?
Not trying to be a dick, but you said you weren't trying to make excuses but then spent 1000 words making excuses.
So forgive me for not joining in the circle jerk. We won because we're better than you in every possible way, not because of the bullshite you listed.

DucksflyinPAC great post and way to man up and show up and post what you did. People here jumping on you are being a little harsh.
Those two fumbles were gifts to LSU and led to points. I am not going to act like any fumble is not a gift. Those fumbles were earned/caused but still it is not something you can count on getting.
My take on the fumbles was it wouldn't have mattered. At that point Oregon was unable to get a first down anyway and would have been punting soon. And at that point the LSU offense had the Oregon D on its heels and Oregon wasn't likely to stop the running game which would only have resulted in more offensive yards before scoring instead of quick scores.
But I respect you for showing up and saying LSU earned the victory.
