Less to play for than aTm or Florida? Do you think our coaches and players have this type of attitude?

As for changing your mind, I live by the Richard Carlson adage, don't sweat the small stuff.

The "point" is to learn the advantages we do have that I don't know about, or have the weaknesses I see confirmed. So far there are statements, but they are built of a bias of being Tigers fans and hating the Gators and 8&4 and not wanting to admit we are not progressing as a Defense and our offense is going through some issues with JD#5 being taken out the game. Before being taken out of the game the offense looked pedestrian, and was starting to struggle. 8&4 has a good defense. The Gators are IMO going to be playing out of their mind grasping for ANYTHING positive to finish the season. Am I missing anything?

There’s no way we beat aTm. They will light up our defense and the offense will struggle against the Aggie defense. I think the Tigers finish 7-5 with losses to the Gators and Aggies. Win against GA State. Bowl game who knows.

This time last week "Playoff bound with two losses." Now "7-5"
I don’t understand where the hope of a defensive improvement was coming from to begin with, especially with our best defensive lineman not playing, and starting Sage and two freshmen at corner. When you call people on it, you have a “piss poor attitude.”

The "change my mind" threads are old and stale, and should have gone the way of VHS tapes. Be original.

Analog is coming back, man.

“Nothing on offense” seems a little harsh. That catch by Nabors on the sideline was epic. By the way, very small point but I was impressed at how upset Nabors got when he dropped Nuss’ 4th down throw. Depressing to think we can now start questioning desire / who will opt out of bowl game etc. guess we will find out what kind of leaders we have

Is that not also true for Florida and A&M? If Daniels can’t go, your prediction may be accurate. Otherwise, LSU isn’t facing any different situation than their remaining conference foes.

Yep, they are athletes and at this level they should have a drive to win no matter what. Most elite athletes hate to lose and push themselves to win. If they have nothing to play for then they should just give up playing sports

+1. Best we can hope for at this point. Nuss is more than capable if needed to help the Tigers win out. Would love to see Daniels play and get more stats worthy of the heisman.
He also gives us a better chance of winning - when healthy.
His stats and end of season could be best ever (if not already) for dual threat QB. Best running QB I've ever seen in my life. Better than Michael Vick and Randall Cunningham IMO. Incredible!

I think we beat UF, lose to Aggie. This defense is horrible.

JD is a passing QB that happens to be extremely fast. Our o-line did just fine minus the snapping issues. I'm hoping JD is back, but we will still win with Nuss if we have to. LSU is a two-TD favorite over UF right now for a reason.

Nearly lost to Arkansas, did not win a close one at Oxford, and pulled out a close one with Mizzou. We dominated State and Auburn the two lowest teams in the West by Stars and stats.

Florida DID lose to Arkansas and A&M also didn’t win a close one at Ole Miss. Both struggled to beat S Carolina and A&M didn’t blowout Miss St. They may not be so bad that LSU blows them out, but I’m not sure what you think they have shown that suggests LSU shouldn’t beat them at home unless Daniels can’t go.

Then don’t talk about “oh we just struggle against these programs so much”.. in that Florida game, how did we do? You make it sound like we didn’t have full control of that game.

I would say FSU would be Florida’s Super Bowl this year…

Missou and Ole Miss are better than UF and ATM. We might lose one of the remaining SEC games, but to say we are going to lose both seems unlikely. That’s how I answered your question.

the players will start sitting out games now with absolutely nothing to play for.
They (most of the players we recruit) don’t play for pride they play for money and the access to pretty LSU girls.
