In an era where everyone has the most powerful entertainment tool in the palm of their hand they’ve tried to make football games compete with that instead of differentiating the product from it.

Put all of the focus on the game itself and make it as captivating as possible.

Then you are parking in the wrong spot. When choosing a place to park, getting close to stadium is not as important as your exit strategy.

We were at the game. It was packed and loud. We stayed until the end and took our sweet arse time walking out and barely had any traffic once we made it back to our vehicle

Staying till the end of the game is now the new way to beat traffic. All the halftime idiots are the ones who have to sit in traffic now.

Number of games attended? What does that have to do with anything?

Game wasn’t decided until the last seconds. That’s what kept them, although I’d argue an sec arse whipping is fun to stay the whole time for too as long as it’s not our arse

Section 404. Arky fans everywhere. My daughter kept asking why they were acting like ghosts.

We parked at the Chase by Louies and had very little traffic getting to 110.

Yes, but they can't control the game on the field, they can't control if someone has an emergency and has to leave, they can't control a LOT of factors...especially not for 100k+ people.

In general, one fanbase attending a game will be disappointed in the outcome.

So no, there's really no way to ensure that the vast majority stay except for a top-tier matchup that goes wire-to-wire like 2022 Bama.

Arkansas isn't a draw - I get it's a SEC matchup, but it's against a mid-tier SEC team.

everyone bitches about the traffic

BR has a black mayor who could give a shite about trying to get a better traffic exit plan.

Now if Southern had such a problem she would damn well fix it for them.

With AI you cant tell me traffic lights could be programmed to facilitate a faster exit.

Nexy mayorial campaign needs to focus on this problem !

Really surprising it is #7 given the huge cricket stadiums in parts of the world.

You're right. But I think the criticism is more on the things they can control. If they were nailing the gameday experience in that regard, I'd concede, but they just aren't.

Even some things they can't like all the damn commercial breaks they need to figure out. They aren't going away.
