I don’t like most of Pirate Kings posts either but do you know him personally?

How do you know that he does or doesn’t attend games? Hell he may go to every game for all we know.

As bad as I hate to admit it, he’s right though. Half the stadium is gone by the of the 3rd no matter how tight the game is.

I was at the Arkansas game and the people sitting below us literally got up and left when the score was still tied at 31 and LSU was just about to start their last offensive drive to win. Guess they really didn’t give a shite who won. Freaking pathetic man.

We were at the game. It was packed and loud. We stayed until the end and took our sweet arse time walking out and barely had any traffic once we made it back to our vehicle.
That’s some slow walking.

I didn't realize that. I thought for sure some of the soccer stadiums in Europe were bigger...nope!

Used to be, a lot have been remodeled through the years and downsized. Wembley stadium in London is one I believe.

Still a good crowd in the second half. Bit emptier. I saw someone measuring crowd noise with their watch. No idea if it was accurate. Was 107 dB in south end zone according to the watch.

So, half the stadium was gone in the 3rd quarter of the Arkansas game? (It wasn't).

While I agree with you on this, BRPD or whoever is in charge of the traffic situation has made it much worse in recent years. Reminds me of the CATS situation "if anything, its done went from worse to worser.... We have to sit out here and wait a long periolodically time"

There's actually a logical reason for this but it's no fricking excuse. The head traffic dude over GameDay traffic at BRPD retired 2-3 years ago(around or during Covid).
They are still trying to do a half the job he did.
You also have fewer BRPD/EBRSO working on gamedays b/c of pay issues(they went to a straight hourly rate of $40/hour instead of OT pay for game days. and I BELIEVE the hours don't count towards PTO either anymore).

So now you have other jurisdictions and even Probation and Parole officers out there directing traffic in and out of packed lots.

For those who go out there regularly, you ain't wrong. It is legitimately worse than it use to be. But they are trying to get this shite worked out. Highland Road is already better with the contra flow but other areas are still a clusterfrick.

Were you parked in Gonzales? Did you stop at a bar for an hour and a half?

The db meter apps for phones these days are fairly accurate for stuff like that. But you wouldn't want to just trust an app without a real microphone for industrial setting or anything.

Ahhhhh yes. Those 50,000 empty seats in the 2022 Alabama game looked bad on TV.......

Funny, but I have co-workers from all over the country and most of them have a nighttime LSU game on their bucket list.
