We need a new DJ at tiger stadium. I don’t understand why they never play the local artist like NBA youngboy, Kevin Gates, Boosie, even Wayne. Arkansas was playing all of our music this past game.

Hadn't been back for a football game in Fayetteville in a few years. Was up for the LSU game after being in BR for the Alabama game. I thought the DJ sucked and it was really annoying. Didn't remember them doing so much of that when I was in school not long ago. Would much rather hear the band.

The Arkansas broadcast was nice because the band got a lot of airtime. Maybe Arkansas doesn’t have the same trashy, piped-in distractions so the band played more or maybe it was mic placement but it was a nice change over the broadcasts from Tiger Stadium.

I wouldn't mind if the band played instead of a DJ. However, the band needs to update its play list. Many of the songs they play are stuck in the past and they have played them out game after game for years. Throw some new current or recent hits in there every now and then and it would be much improved. At least more songs from this century
I'll throw this in there preemptively that I'm not talking about replacing our fight song, pre-gmae, etc.

The dude doesn’t even play popular rap music. He just plays random shite that nobody has ever heard. Shouldn’t even be a thing in the first place during the game considering we have a ginormous band sitting there for decoration I guess.

Tiger Stadium DJ plays music from all genres and decades. It's been solid. You're 100% wrong if you think he just plays random shite nobody's heard of. Last saturday he played Swag Surfin and Walk it Out. Over played sure but those are hippity hop songs that are VERY popular.
He also played this silly remake techno tune that's wildly popular with young folks right now thanks to Tik Tok:
David Guetta - I'm feelin Good I'm all right
And I'm pretty sure everyone's heard this tune that's played EVERY home game
Guns N Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
The DJ literally plays EVERYTHING. We go to EVERY home game from 30 minutes before to 10 minutes after. And I haven't been really drunk at a game since 2017 UT-Chattanooga.
So I know what I'm talking about.
But what LSU really needs to focus on is our fricking Video Boards working properly. That and the "down and distance" person putting the right "down and distance" on the boards when they DO WORK.
I've gotten use to looking at the sticks and not even bothering to read what's on the board over the last 3-4 years.
