On the burger, the top bun was soggy and the bottom was hard like a brick.

People will make comments (like eat before LOL) and downvote, but its 100% the truth. If its worth doing, do it right.

Take pride in all of the product (fan experience), esp considering fans nationwide are staying home.

Also, with some of the best food in the world, use it as your benefit. I have to believe SW is smart enough to see this.

I have been going to LSU games for decades. I don't think I have ever ordered any food in the stadium. I eat great food at the tailgates and order a coke for my bourbon.

I haven't been to every SEC stadium but I've been to most and hate to say this but Tiger Stadium is better than most in terms of selections and the outside food vendors.

Absolutely

These are very reasonable expectations.

Not that you need to be able to eat off the floor.

Just that it doesn’t reek of piss starting from 5 feet outside the door.

Can we outsource bathrooms to the fine folks at Buc-ee’s?

I don't go to sporting events for the concessions..sorry. if I want whatever is there, I'll get something, if not I'll eat afterwards. Tired of people complaining about concessions.

I’m tired of the holier-than-thou bullshite from people who act like it’s some kind of sin for a Tiger fan to care about the quality/availability of concessions.

You don’t eat at the stadium? Cool. Then it’s not your problem. Tons of people do, though.

One limitation that is always forgotten about Tiger stadium - there are an extremely small number of locations inside of the structure that allow for cooking food on site, between fire code requirements for venting and health department codes. Even if Cane’s wanted to do something, logistically they would have to have a food truck outside of the stadium to cook in, then bring the food in and distribute it to its booths, while keeping it warm. I doubt there’s a lot of profit involved in the extra people and equipment needed to pull that off.

Fries?…don’t think I’ve ever seen fries at the stadium.

How far are you guys walking for food? If it’s more than a section or 2 away I’m not going. Don’t really care about eating there anyway. Keep the beer cold and close.

I was hanging out under the south endzone before the game to stay out of the rain. My seats were in the west lower bowl.

Couldn't get hot chocolate with 9 minutes left in the game. They were closed.

I bought the $10 gumbo they were out of rice and supposed to be chicken n sausage however no chicken in it. Packaged in a box with crackers n bread. Brought back to my seat it was ice cold not even slightly warm. Thrown away not even going back in line to have them warm that crap up!

I would believe this. It’s an extremely predictable side effect of awarding a contract that basically says “maximize revenue, give us our cut, and you can keep the rest.”

Everyone loves to blame Aramark (myself included) but minimizing waste at the expense of quality / fan satisfaction is a pretty logical business move given the contract structure. LSU isn’t paying for any unused product, and Aramark doesn’t have to worry about any competitors in the stadium poaching their business.

There are a ton of ways LSU could have incentivized better service from Aramark in the contract:
- Set penalties for inventory issues.
- Tie part of Aramark’s compensation directly to fan satisfaction survey results.
- Award a much shorter contract, which keeps them on the hot seat.
- Split off some number of stands (say 10-20%) and allow other vendors to bid on operation of those stands on a yearly basis (could present some obvious logistical issues, though).

All of these options would have reduced the value of the contract, though, so LSU went the maximum greed route instead.

When walking through and dealing with the LSU concessions, I feel like I am dealing with a 3rd world country.
