Maybe Juban's can have a cart and serve the hallelujah crab.

I don't go to sporting events for the concessions..sorry.
Such a selfish, self centered attitude. Obviously doesn’t have kids and a family.
Lots of people do bring their families to games. Good concessions are a vital part of keeping everyone in your family happy with the overall experience.

For real, just the wife and I that attend at 32. Idk anyone that has a tailgate, would love to eat and drink before hand. But we can’t, you get hungry and would like some decent food for the prices we pay. It’s not an unreasonable request, it’s part of the sporting experience.

Here’s the deal though. The old crew in Tiger Stadium are perfectly fine with everything because that’s how it used to be. No one wants upgrades because of nostalgia. It doesn’t make sense. Upgrades to Tiger Stadium are long overdue. Fan experience, concessions, technology, etc. Unfortunately, everyone seems okay with the status quo.

Section 414 here. Went get a hot dog and diet coke. The hot dog was the worst hot dog I've had in my life.
And when did they take the free refill stickers off souvenir cups?
Last night I felt a little bit like a Karen. But I'm legit pissed about both of these issues as a season ticket holder at every home game.
Our concession options/quality/value are horrible unless you walk all the way down to the SEZ food court. That's a 5 minute walk alone without considering the lines.

You just summarized Louisiana.
The contrast between premium seating areas and the rest of the stadium is stunning.

All the problems go back to joe Alec’s…..
He signed a cheap contract with Aramark concessions

The difference is the amount of people you have to serve.
Aramark corners the market much like Entergy does, for instance. The issue with Aramark is this.
Aramark bids on LSU’s contract. They win it because they are one of a very few that can even handle the scope because they’ve bought out all of their competitors, on top of that their price is the best.
When they win the contract, they source 99% of the work out to temporary staffing agencies. Concessions, bartenders, servers (suites) trash pickup, ushers, all of it. The Aramark employees on-site are clueless & do not care.
And if you have ever been around temporary staffers, they are people that cannot get, or want, to work regular hour jobs. They are people living in poverty, many have drug/alcohol/criminal-related issues that live day to day.

Why in the hell can’t one buy beer and hot dogs in the same line? I can at most MLB and NFL stadiums. Why not in TS?
Is this a TS thing or SEC thing? Beer was in a separate line last week in Fayetteville

I was there last night. I doubt seriously anyone waited 20 minutes for anything

Would like to know. I get ID’ing people…it seems MLB and NBA teams handle it fine.
Why not use the same vendor at larger NFL stadiums vs garbage Aramark?

Geez man. Hot chocolate?
What is wrong with hot chocolate on a cold arse rainy night? Lots of grown men were drinking it last night. Myself included. You gotta learn to live and love life as yourself and quit worrying about your image or what others think of you. If you want some hot chocolate, dammit go buy yourself some hot chocolate.

I don't got to games to worry about the quality of concessions. I go to watch a game. Wait times at concessions and bathrooms affect that the most.
Auburn does a pretty good job with grab-n-go type concessions in their that works. The hot dogs are all ready to go, you grab what you want and you check out. The menu is a little more limited by necessity, but it works. I've been to a game in their upper deck where, because I was sitting next to a portal, I went to the bathroom and got a dog and a Coke during a TV time out.
What is unacceptable at LSU is bad food that you wait for. Not even going to bother at that point.
Tiger Stadium can certainly do better than they are doing now.
GEAUX TIGERS!

HeyWoodward, we know you elites and high rollers up in the suites don’t have to worry about crappy, overpriced concessions. But us commoners down here in steerage have a real problem with it. How about getting off your arse and help us out. After all we do pay your salaries.

Many, many years ago, my wife and I went to see LSU play in the Independence Bowl. At game time it was 17 degrees. They ran out of hot chocolate BEFORE THE GAME STARTED
Posted on 11/20/22 at 6:12 pm to Kreg Jennings
The pretzel was dry and flavorless. The hot chocolate was fine but an open Styrofoam cup with no lid was pretty stupid. Had my kids with me so I felt like I was spending more time reminding them to hold the big arse cup with both hands.
Not going to lie that was pretty miserable conditions. We roughed it to the start of the 4th but we had to get shelter from time to time to warm up.

Competition would help.
If there were several different beer vendors, and the high priced one with bad service starts losing business, they'll make an effort to change.
The same with food. If the service line is continuously too long because of poor service, other vendors will sell more.
One of the big issues is how much money the vendors pay to LSU. Ten-dollar beer is outrageous until we see that five dollars of that is paid to the university.

Then a thread titled, "Tiger Stadium concessions" isn't really for you, is it?
