Tiger fans leaving GeorgiaDome were apoligizing to Tarheel fans last year

"sorry we won" was the postgame fan talk. The direction of this year's team can be measured by the the postgame fan talk out of JerryWorld.
As as far as I know, only 1 Oregon player is suspended as opposed to 6 North Carolina players.

So are you insinuating that the talk out of the stadium suggested the direction of the team last year? Because if they were dejected last year and LSU went 11-2, I'm pulling for most of the fans to run off and jump off the nearest bridge.

Actually no. I alughed at the jack asses behind me the whole way out the stadium. I actually expect the oregon fans not to be as rude or have as terrible hillbilly accents as unc fans.

I don't know what game they went to, but i certainly didn't entertain ANY thoughts of apolgizing to ANY obnoxious UNC fans. My friend and I are walking away from the stadium only to be insulted by a bunch of complete asses in their UNC gear. UNC can flat go to hell as far as I am concerned. Talk about poor sports. We said nothing and you would swear they beat us by fifty points. I thought for a second that we might go to blows with those idiots. Besides, what in the world did we have to be ashamed of? We beat them fair and square even though it wasn't the prettiest win. And if we were that bad, then they should have crushed us. I hate to think how unbearable they would have been had they gotten a win.

We beat UNC's arse last year. Fair and square. If Ridley doesn't fumble, they aren't even thinking about making some kind of miracle, last second TD to win. We run the clock out.

I will say that the North Carolina game was a harbinger for several other needlessly close victories: Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, WVU.
Beating an embattled NC team by a slim margin after squandering a twenty point lead was dissatisfying. That being said, Oregon is a much more formidable opponent and I would be pleased with any victory.

3 of us sat in the unc section and i saw no such thing from the few of us scattered throught those cry babys. Dudes literally wanted to fight us cus we were curb stomoing them at furst. Bunch if red neck fricks.

it was pretty awkward leaving the GA dome last year.
everyone i was around was pretty quite and just kind of shocked at how close the game was.

20/20 is hindsight, but that North Carolina game was a harbinger of the season to come.
Now this doesn't always work out, in 1998 LSU lost an early game to Georgia and the fan talk out of that game was "we'll get another chance" at them in the SECCG.
Just an opinion that the fan talk out of Oregon will be spot on, just like last year.

I was there. Most of the LSU fanbase in attendance appeared to be pervaded by a sheepish, chagrined sense of relief when the final pass was deflected to the turf. I wouldn't say we were "sorry" that we won, but I would say there was a general air of dissatisfaction. It was a very subdued post-game atmosphere, in my opinion.
