That's all part of the Idolize/Worship process of the stereotypical SPL.

Shooting paint balls at people on campus is unacceptable. All 3 need to go. Let them "Be Kids " at another school.

Shooting random folks with paintball guns (on campus) is "horsing around"? Keep making excuses for these assholes. If they didn't play college ball for your favorite team, you'd be pissed off. I used to play paintball and those frickers hurt. I couldn't imagine catching one in the eye.

Wonder how LSU will handle this? My friend was kicked out of his dorm for having an air soft gun. Didn't shoot anybody with it. Just had it in his room.

For paintballs????!! Getting rid of them for paintballs??? No.

Not saying to kick them out of school. But having weapons on campus is a no no.

I can see how it would be traumatic to be shot by a paintball gun unexpectedly. Knowing that I am in Baton Rouge, my first thought would be that I was being hit by stray gunfire or was under attack.

I think Wade should set up a public shooting booth where students can pay $5-10 to shoot the basketball players with paintball guns and donate the money to charity!

so can walking up and frogging someone's arm. We used to survive that in third grade. We must've had supernatural powers

If three dudes came out and started shooting paintballs at you, I guarantee you you wouldn't laugh it off.

Hell most of the concealed carriers on this board would start returning fire.

If this was a student or random group of guys, totally different reaction.

Not really. My friends and I did almost this exact thing when we were like junior/senior in HS. We got in a little trouble but it wasn't cataclysmic.

The son of a family friend was shot between the eyes in a drive-by paintball shooting in NOLA. He still has a slight scar and only by the grace of God was he not blinded in one eye.

In addition to medieval PT, they should be subjected to a few hundred rounds of paintballs (with eye protection of course) to develop a better sense of empathy.

This is an extremely stupid thing to plain and simple.

I'm sure they were sat down and explained to that as college athletes for LSU they will be expected to act a certain way to represent the university.

When you play 1 of the major sports for an SEC team, you've got to make better decisions than this. You're no longer just a "college kid" pulling a prank.

Yeah it sounds like they are 12 yrs old, there is something wrong with shooting at people who cannot shoot back at their ages, my 2 cents

I get there was a complaint but it's no reason to arrest someone unless it's a recurring problem.

Got some info:

They have done it for weeks, multiple times and finally got caught.

Hit some female students going to class and an adult non-student.

Settle down. They didn't steal a female's purse (Larry Foster); they weren't caught being a peeping tom (Cecil Collins), they aren't hooked on the powder (Damien James); All will be fine with this group of kids.

I'm not saying they should be kicked off the team but you do realize a paintball to the eye would most likely blind you in that eye right? Charges need to be pressed
