You should be ashamed of yourselves. Those were kids in college, trying to broadcast the game, doing the camera, work, and etc. They probably have a shoestring budget if a budget at all. The game was played, it was a competitive game, and they got to show their wares. I can’t understand grown people having issue with kids trying to put on a production.
So lsu is bigger. Has more money. Privy to professional productions. Shame on those who cast shade on our smaller state institutions. You would be the first to bitch if they had no sports. The first to cry foul if they hadn’t aired the game. Get a grip folks!

Broadcast didn’t even seem that bad. With the added context, they did a fine job.

This is what I posted in the other thread that you are responding to:

“What they really need to learn is to stop talking. Listen to Lyn Rollins. There is always plenty of air time without talking. Those Southeastern guys were constantly talking which wears out the listener and lends itself to being repetitive.”

Overall I think they did well. Less talk and more sounds of the game will help them tremendously. It will also eliminate many of the ums. It will help their prepared material stretch the whole game.
They sounded young because they are young. But I think they did okay.

I appreciate being able to watch a midweek game. Just a few years this wasnt an option.

Complaining to complain, is so Louisiana.

It’s a student broadcast
My only issue is they went to field reporter before game and not till end of game lol

Why not just use the radio crew instead

I’m just the opposite saint tiger, I think lsu should run rule slu every game. However, I do think we should show appreciation to small institutions trying to “hang in there” and try to improve their sports programs. As lsu fans, we appreciate the fact that sports are the engine that drives donations, overall morale of the student body, excitement and pride. As lsu fans, we are lucky to have the best or right at the best of everything.
