If you're talking about the black "catapult" garments that look similar to a sports bra, I asked Chris Martin the baseball strength and conditioning coach about it last year since all position players were wearing them.

He said that the device has technology inside and tracks each players "workload" to make sure that they aren't overworking players. It also provides data such as max speed and distances traveled as well as some other health and workout related metrics so that staff can analyze each player's analytics.

Yeah we get it but why does it have to be in a sports bra? It's the exact same proportions as a women's sports bra. Why can't the data tracking sensors be in a regular men's under armor type shirt? I can't be the only one who thinks they look ridiculous.
