LSU is unlikely to fall asleep 2 weeks in a row, at least I hope not. LSU needs to beat little old miss by 2 touchdowns.

We all will "take 5 & 0," but let's show some signs that we can whip an inferior opponent.

I've got a feeling that this is going to be a lot like the Tech game, but Ole Miss actually gets a lead in the late 3rd/early 4th before LSU puts them away late.

I have a feeling (Hope?) that our coaching staff is up their asses this week about allowing tech to bring it to 24-21... I don't see it happening in back to back weeks.

It would be nice to dominate but wins against Ole Miss and at the swamp with no injuries would be just fine.

BINGO! Especially with an O line that is already thin and battered.

No, TigerFan4040, that won't cut it against a pussy opponent like OLD Miss, especially a week after playing down to an in-state mid-major opponent. You've got to keep improving each week, so that you can play for bigger and better things in November. We need to dominate or semi-dominate this pussified Old Miss squad. Their defense is a joke, and our defense can be stellar when at its best.

Or what?

I mean, what happens if LSU wins 3-2? From, my perspective, LSU puts a W in the win column and goes on to play at UF.

Sure, if we win every game it won't matter how we do it.

HOWEVER, if we slip up once, playing up/down to competition will be a problem.

Apparently 17-point wins aren't convincing enough these days.

Why cant people just be rational?

The tech game was a 3 point game in the 4th qtr, that is somewhat concerning. If the game went like this nobody would care we won by "only 17"

24-0 at half

then 24-7
27-7
27-10
34-10
34-17 final

Sure, but what if they don’t win every game? I know, it’s unlikely, but humor me.

I don't think it's about style. I think it's about developing some offensive identity; gaining some confidence; and demonstrating that the offense can exploit a suspect defense.

It's about the process. If we can get the execution down, the results will follow. It's more of challenge with 3 OL starters missing but, then again, it's the Ole Miss D. They don't appear to be able to stop running water.

JohnnyU, these guys just don't get it, OR they prefer to disagree for the sake of disagreeing.

Offense is still a work in progress, it's the defense that is the head scratcher. we have superior talent at all 3 levels, DL-LBs-DBs and as a whole the defense is more talented than our offense and how we let Tech come in here and score 3 TDs, mainly when we had a 3 score lead and could turn the dogs loose is still hard to believe. But this team is not satisfied like Devin White said and I believe we will continue to improve in every phase.
