He’s upset because he spent the last 3 weeks telling anyone who would listen that Kelly wasn’t going anywhere.
He also claimed he found out at noon that Kelly was fired. Why didn’t you report it then, big dog? Trying to take credit over his coworker who actually broke the news.

From someone who has many years experience in public speaking I do not find him to be a very polished radio personality. He does not stick to the point rather he gets off on tangents and many times goes in circles. At times I wonder if he will find his way back to where he started. Maybe he's just killing on time minutes.
I will listen just prior a game and then after to see how he avoids accountability.
He not only doubled down but tripled down on his Sunday morning podcast to say that nothing would be done until LSU hired a new President which just shows how "connected" he really is.
When someone brags about their connections it usually means the opposite. Truly connect people "never" talk about it.

Said so last night. Recruiting, the balance of the games this year, the money (and I don’t believe the copium about Kelly accepting less than half), poisons the prospect pool as well. Another coach coming here is going to want more assurances than Kelly got.
He needed to go, but now right now and not this way.
I don’t think anyone fully understands how bad this makes us look. Worse than the A&M loss.

It's stuff like this that really annoys me about Matt.
Listen to how he says absolutely no way Kelly is fired and the only way he won't be coaching at LSU is if he retires.
Can't stand when he talks like this. He does this so often and never just admits he was wrong and a jackass for how he talked to others.
