It is pitch count and how he has impacted the game. He has missed pitches multiple times and it hurt Anderson.
I’m not sure how you can’t see it for THIS game. Having umped, I don’t blame umps if they are consistent.

At some point we should get auto umps in SEC play. The umps in the league are some of the worst in CBB and every AD has more than enough money to install the tech.

Zone for strikes 1 & 2 are completely different for strike 3

we haven’t hit a #1 SEC pitcher this year…it’s not the ump. We haven’t hit many #2 pitchers for that matter either

Automated balls and strikes need to happen next year. You can keep the umpires in the game for all of the calls at plate and on the bases to make the other calls but, with the technology we have, there is no way we need to sit here watching call after call be missed.
Earpiece that tells them balls and strikes, they still make the call. Keeps the energy and fun of having an umpire but with correct calls.
