This coming from Ole Miss fan who's fans are notorious for throwing cups, whiskey or beer bottles on the field during a game? 
I was at Ole Miss/LSU game in Oxford as far back as 1989 and watched Ole Miss fans pelt the endzone with whiskey bottles one almost hitting LSU safety lined up in the endzone before the play.

Yea I was in an Ole Miss section and it was tough toward the end of the game to celebrate anything knowing I need to be watching what was coming from above
To be fair though, a shite load of them were thrown on the opposite side of the stadium too. No idea who at LSU didn't see this inevitable situation happening though

This right here. I caught more shite from Ole Miss fans than my Ole Miss buddy did from us walking around campus. I was shocked. We kept track of it and it took over 3 hours on campus before he got tigerbaited by someone other than me

My daughter and her friends are Ole Miss Grads and were at the game in their team colors. I was extremely worried for their safety, so when she called after the game to say that they were going to the bars, I asked and she said everyone was cool and other than some people yelling STTDB at them it was fine. As an LSU Alum, I was proud of my people :)

From where I was sitting, the wristbands were mostly coming from the corner of the 600 Level that was occupied by OM fans. Who, it should be added, were tossing them onto the OM fans below them.

This is why the Administration encourages our fans to be considerate of our visitors and throw only piss balloons. The balloons are unlikely to harm anyone and our fans have become adept in the deployment of these inflated missiles, so that only best practices are employed in their use. Let's try to be better hosts when our opponents come to Tiger Stadium.
