Lol...I've been going to LSU basketball games since 1983, in person. But I'm older than dirt at 56, yet you've been to so many more than me in your obviously young life (since I'm an old man at 56). It blows my mind how highly you kids think of yourselves. You'll get there one day hopefully and you'll see how completely ignorant you once sounded.

Wade is not a good coach. The recruiting is great, but the coaching is mediocre - at best. Who cares how many 5* he signs, look at what he’s doing with the 5* he has now.

So are you saying LSU has won an SEC championship, made a Sweet 16, and made two other tournament appearances because we just had better talent than our competitors in the league and win DESPITE coaching
Then explain why Bama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Auburn have had more players drafted than LSU since 2018, yet we have won more conference games than any of those schools since 2018?
Please explain why Vanderbilt, Miss St, and Arkansas have had the exact same number of players drafted as LSU since 2018, and haven’t had the success LSU has had?
Also, how many 5 stars are currently on the roster today? We started 14-0 (including wins over UK and Tennessee) with the least talented roster Wade has had since his first season.
People who make this argument show how little they know about basketball. They think because Wade has been accused of recruiting violations than he only wins because of recruiting. Well let’s go ahead debunk that idea as well. Here are LSU’s conference recruiting rankings since he’s been here:
2017 - 4th
2018 - 2nd
2019 - 7th
2020 - 2nd
2021 - 3rd
Vey good recruiting, but not head and shoulders above the competition in the league.
ETA. If you want an example of bad coaching but great recruiter look at Penny Hardaway at Memphis. Consistently has a top 5 class in the nation and can’t make the tournament from a mid-major conference.

He’s a troll, he doesn’t watch basketball. Before the season he mocked anyone who pays attention to LSU basketball but he’s a loser addicted to attention so he trolls the basketball fans.

You obviously haven't stepped foot on a basketball court in your entire lifetime if you think it's pathetic to notice that this team isn't the same if Murray and Pinson aren't healthy.

That's exactly what he is saying. He gets the talent in to advance to the trny, in most years. But, he doesn't do much with that talent once he gets there, given that he has won ONE Ncaa trny game during this time. So yes, that is EXACTLY what he is saying. We will see how it plays out this year. My guess is we will probably scrape by and get in the trny, and make another quick exit. Tonight is pivotal though. Lose tonight, and the road to the trny gets much more difficult.

I cannot wait for Pinson to get healthy. I'm sure the first 2-3 games the excuse will be he just needs time to adjust back in. After that, I'm not sure what the excuse will be....maybe the refs.

I've never seen a team get worse as the season goes. I realize that injuries happen but damn, that shouldn't have anything to do with effort, shooting free throws or defensive intensity. This team don't look bad..... they look lost and horrible.
