The same old lsu team implied we make the tournament. Get out the first round.
Possibility lose the second round. Definitely don’t get out of the 3rd round.

I don’t understand how you aren’t comprehending this.

If that is pretty dang good - then great!
But to me - it’s what we’ve seen the last 3-4 years. Which is why I made the comment that this is the same old LSU team.
Would I make you happy if I put “same old LSU coach wade team”?

Didn’t you say Gaines isn’t good on Nov 12th?
You do know he’s going to be a major part of this teams success moving forward this year, right?

Murray probably is that's why i said he will be vwry important this year.

Pinson is streaky.

Does Murray start taking more minutes away from Wilkinson?
He definitely seems to have a nice stroke and the confidence to shoot at any point.

That's where they miss Adam Miller.

So why are you arguing with me? His post said this team is pretty dang good. I said I disagree and that it looked like the same old LSU team. Stupid mistakes - silly fouls - early foul trouble - Days is our only shooter, etc. So you agree with me this team isn’t winning a title or making an elite eight appearance? Cool. You should’ve just said that. Night bruv

Sweet sixteen is “pretty dang good”. Hell many good teams don’t do that. Seems like you just have a different opinion on what a good season is which is fine. Also we’ve been pretty good for awhile so I have zero issue being like LSU has been. Just need to get it done when it matters and we’ll see what happens.

It’s liberty. Relax. Wait until SEC play.

I don’t see any serious flaws with this team so far. Stats bear my statement out.

Any complainers are being nitpicky 3 games into a season. Team will only get better.

And defense can go a long way towards advancing in the NCAA tourney.

Realistically - we won’t see Days putting up over 20 points a game in SEC play.

Call me biased but I think Days can absolutely have a SEC POTY type season. He look like grown man out there and knows he's the leader of this team. We have to rely on his shooting to help space the floor and he's going to continue getting 5+ 3PA a night, which should help him get into a rhythm. He's also been doing a great job rebounding and even taking the ball to the paint some. He's a guy greatly benefitting from the COVID year and it shows.

You seem jabari smith yet?

Might be the best player in the sec since Ben Simmons

Stupid mistakes - lane violation on a free throw, throw the ball out of bounds on inbound pass, foul a guy before the inbound pass on the other side of the court.

I tend to be super critical of bone head plays also. But it is so easy for us fans to never make a mistake. There is so much pressure and everything happens so fast that we will likely never have a game where there aren't a couple of dumb plays. So even though I will continue to bitch, I will also try to understand that anyone can have a bad moment or even a bad game but still contribute greatly to our season.

You think they perform better this year?

Yes, but the SEC is likely dominant in hoops this year. No one Tigers have faced thus far has the speed and depth of the SEC field.

Same old LSU team if you ask me. Stupid mistakes - lane violation on a free throw, throw the ball out of bounds on inbound pass, foul a guy before the inbound pass on the other side of the court. Liberty looked like they invented the pump fake tonight on the court. They literally only have Days that can hit a shot and he’s streaky.

You’re a special kind of stupid.. Are there some things this team could improve on? Yes! But after watching first 3 games there’s a lot to be impressed with. This team hustles, defends well, move the ball effectively and can be lethal from perimeter. Not saying this team wins it all but if they continue to improve, making a run deep in tourney is not out of the question.

They showed flashes of greatness . Reid looks like he will be suoerstar one day. Liberty looked better than what I was expecting. Most of the game it looked like we have not figured out how to play as a team.

So by this you mean the team that has the best record in the SEC over the last 3 years? You realize that's what "same old LSU team" means, right?

This team may get to the sweet 16 - but thats about as good as it gets.

The fact we made the tourney 2 whole times in the TJ and JJ eras and you people are making statements like this is insane.

We make the tourney damn near every year with Wade.

AND youre wrong, with the D this team is playing and their length, if we get ANY guard play at all in the tourney we are looking at elite 8 as the floor
