that wasn't on the QB. WR ran the wrong route.

Honest question, you don’t think there are other circumstances that contributed to everyone playing better?

That is, you don’t think that possible motivation for playing better may have been that a tru freshman QB was starting, rather than the specific player?

And inferior to who exactly? He coaches the defending champs. Your examples are from the only other coaches that have had any success, and the backups you referenced were the #1 rated players at their position. Not to mention Tua didn’t get put in until the end of the season.

How do we know the receiver wasn’t supposed to run a hitch? He threw it back shoulder like he was expecting a hitch. They were in zone so the DB read it the whole time.

Are you a Georgia fan?

Myles is average 370 yard 3.6 TDs and 1 int per game. Thats better than Finley did against USCe.

I don't think you what "exponentially" means. Hell, I don't think you know what "better" means.

There are multiple examples of the backup being better but only getting an opportunity after the starter got injured. Most notably, Bledsoe and Brady.

But most of the time the starter is the starter beyond a single good game by the backup.

I mean Jennings looked as good as Mett on that game winning drive vs Arky.

How did he play better???

It was one game. He had a shot in begining of season but in head to head brennans won... That can change. But how can you say that rn? After a single game with a completely different game plan then what we seen last three games

He didn't find this out.

I think Finley has a higher ceiling and a better future than Myles and would lean towards letting him keep the starting job, If he continues to shine this week. But at this point he didn't show that he was exponentially better

All because of the QB...your world must be fascinating.

Myles was having a really good season and would have torched Carolina. STFU.

We haven't seen the running backs enough to determine how hard they run, honestly.

Maybe has something to do with the fact that we had an extra week to prepare? Also played a team with a pretty vanilla offense.

I fricking hate when people have this idea that somehow the QB is supposed to have an effect on how well the defense plays. He scored points! That's the best thing he can do for a defense.

The difference between the LSU offense of old and this new modern offense is, the old offense threw to the RECEIVER, the new modern offense throws to a SPOT.

The new offense is about TIMING, ANTICIPATION, and EXECUTION.

LSU/SC Highlights

Pick is just after 3:55 (6:55 in the 2nd)

He throws it where anyone can get it. We started the play at the 29. The ball is picked between 10 and 11 yardline.

The defender was actually at the yardline where the ball was picked and stopped. I can't think of one legitimate route where that pass would be appropriate.

Not enough on it for a crosser. Too early for post when he hadn't cut yet.

It was an inaccurate pass. He also floated it a little i feel like. I think it was a back shoulder that he misjudged the throw on.

Its ok for freshmen to throw picks or have a bad throw. TJ is the future. Myles is the present.
