Think it’s a great hire for D line help and obviously recruiting. As we get closer to season and in season I would prefer to see him take a back seat and just do his job and not do interviews just like anyone else in his role at other programs.

Most of you morons are giant vaginas anyway. Coach O came and orchestrated the greatest team and greatest season ever in college football, arguably (not really)
He could STILL be here winning 5 games per year, after giving us that season and CEMENTING LSau as the greatest team in every single conversation.
We would have been no worse off than we were w Kelly and you this point.
Hiring Coach O at LSU in any capacity is a home run hire. He should be on our payroll for 100k per year in perpetuity

he had a few things working against him, im sure he made some mistakes. I mean he did do ok(turned usc around before coming here) before the title run going to a bowl game for 3 yrs in a row prior. To many variables for O to recover from in 20 and 21. I mean he lost coaches to hc positions and the nfl too. He had a hard shot of building back like was expected. I think he gonna do fine just "coaching" with none of the hc stuff over his head. This is good for him at his age He wants lsu to win. He can just coach and support the Tigers! Jmo. I have no issue with O being on the staff in the capacity he is. But by your logic, shouldn't we also be trying to hire Gene Chizik, Jimbo Fisher, and Larry Coker?

When you lose 18 to draft, your heisman qb, both coordinators, covid and people saying he should have marched with players, no one could recover from that. He did leave kelly with a top 5 recruiting class and look what he did. I am glad he is back and glad to see the support he is getting.

Coach Ogre is simply trying to rehab his career, it isn't anymore complicated than that.
He is not here because he has a deep and genuine love for LSU. The only thing he genuinely loves is the ogre in the mirror (and blonde poon).
