Not shutting down the Casey thing immediately could be a big mistake.

This could go the way of Greg Schiano and Tennessee.

Really poor job of reading the room by Woody.

First big gaffe?

He hasn’t done anything.

Mulkey essentially jumped into his lap.

I’d like to hear your read of the room. I’m honestly curious.

You have no clue the validity or strategy of what's going on. He didn't do anything yet. Chill out until he actually makes a hire, then we can bitch.

Until there's an official announcement, fingers still crossed that this is not happening, Casey makes a statement withdrawing his name, and McDonnell is hired.

Woodward didn’t strike me as a guy who is tone deaf, but damn I’m reconsidering that now.

Exactly what room is that? tRant? This is EXACTLY the kind of hire we need. He is from the left coast and used to dealing with libs. He is a PROVEN winner and stud and he can flat out coach with a no bull shite mentality.

Have you heard the videos before each sporting event where he talks about catering to the student athlete? i don’t think casey’s the hire. his previous actions with the racial and title ix stuff suggests he’ll go with someone else

What facts do we have that say Pelini was a Woodward decision?
I’ve seen conjecture, mostly by Orgeron apologists but no facts, no links, no evidence.
Anybody got anything solid on this one way or the other?
Sounds unlikely that this would happen.

So fans would make a fool of themselves and end up with a crappier coach they have to fire in a few years?

Pelini wasn’t an Oeaux hire, so people automatically jumped to Woodward

To an extent. He’s got a lot to further prove still being AD of LSU.
