Despite a rocky opener against UGA, Tiger fans were optimistic about the new regime under the mastermind behind Brett Farve.

First down vote. Yay!

He did end Bama’s win streak.

I was there.

Back in the days when you didn't need a Coronavirus to have only 25,000 fans in Tiger Stadium.

No Jim we were not, I already had been on the radio saying it was a bad hire.

He was not the mastermind behind Brett as well, see Southern last coach.

"Defense been sound, don't hurt yourself offensively" Ole 5 o'clock shadow must have said this a million times on Inside LSU Football. And "This is a RE-BUILDING-PROGRAM" anytime someone ruffled his feathers at his press conferences.

Ok Curley was bad. But in fairness it was Mike Archer who tanked the program. Never forget seeing him at CCL playing golf two weeks before signing day.

jesus 1609tiger, it was not Mike

prop 48 killed Louisiana recruiting

Bill would not recruit and lived of Jerry's recruits

If not for SMU going under and LSU getting Harmon and Young 1988 season would have been a losing season also.

That is a very worn out theory and isn't true. Arnspager recruited well. Maybe not as good as Stovall but we had many NFL players he brought in. Namely Harvey Williams, Hodson and Eric Hill. The cupboard wasn't bare for Archer. It was for Curley. It didn't help that Curley had an IQ of 80.

LOL Sherman Bill did not like college football and hated recruiting which is why Mike even Bill's first season was one of our 2 main recruiters and by the second season was the main recruiter.

And that is not hated, it is really hated to recruit.
