Holy shite I can’t even believe this is real. Clear evidence the refs gave Michigan the game. I hope bama gets railed tonight!

Not really. Michigan's big guys dominated the inside. Michigan had 11 more offensive rebounds than LSU.

We shot 39%, 29% from 3.

Michigan shot 54%, and 40% from 3.

Maybe that had something to do with it.

By the way, total fouls were LSU 20, Michigan 17. Pretty much even there.

None of those stats disprove the OP. Oregon state shot about 28 free throws last night and should’ve shot 40+ but the refs tried all they could to get Okie State through.

So the refs got together in a huddle before the game, did a collective evil laugh and decided to fix the game in Michigan's favor? Is this what you honestly believe?

It's the fouls that they don't call that hurt.

It shouldn't be "well, we need to even this shite up so we'll call fewer fouls".

If it's a fricking foul, call it. Cam had blood streaming down his arm from one foul that was not call.

And, when a player steps out of bounds first, and a foul follows....call that horse crap.

Big-10 was 2-7 coming in with no prospects to make real noise if Michigan didn’t advance. Anyone who knows how this shite works knows what happened tonight.

Do we ever just lose? Or is it always something sinister and ridiculous behind the scenes? Tell us, wise one. You were convinced the refs were out to get us against St. Bon. How did we win that game?

Most knew that officiating was going to play a factor. I’m not convinced it was a “fix” but anyone who believes the NCAA desired an LSU program with the shite hanging over it over a Big-10 1 seed team not making it to the Sweet 16 has their heads up their arse.

I did, and saw both teams benefit from questionable calls. I do think we should have gone to the line more down the stretch, but being so certain that it's a big 10 conspiracy is a lot less likely than a player coming off the bench and scoring 21 to beat us.

Always the most low-effort posts on this site. Refs didn't force LSU to throw up terrible shots from beyond 3 and in the paint all night, especially down the stretch. Refs didn't have LSU undersized down low. Refs didn't give UM the advantages in rebounds.

Stop blaming the refs for losses.

You are delusional if you think the bench was one of the main problems. Bench didn’t score a lot when we won big games this year. It was the stagnant offense, shitty refs, and letting them have wide open threes all day. Refs wouldn’t let us touch a Michigan guy down low while Michigan could be as aggressive as they wanted and refs didn’t do anything.

I call it out when we play bad, I hammer Wade when it’s warranted and who knows, maybe if the game were called straight tonight we still lose. The problem is it wasn’t and it wasn’t like these plays were hard to see, they happened right in front of the ref or at the rim. I’ve been involved with basketball seriously for 27 years and those weren’t missed calls they were ignored with purpose. They came with certain timing and in bunches.
