I would say the terrible offensive effort in the second half doomed us that game - should not have come to that. But made up for it today - great comeback.

maybe, but at 40% from the free throw line, they will need work. But this was a great win.

Didn’t the big 10 admit today they blew the call and the penalty? Why can’t that result be rectified?
I know for damn sure the SEC would never admit their mistake.

Any updates on getting that game declared a no contest? That was gross malpractice by the officials.

We’re 8-0.

Would never happen but I do think LSU should have raised more of a stink about that game. Didn't really get much of a protest from us unless I missed it

And one man scored 50% of our points....love this team, but they will need others to contribute, at least some.

We will be in the 60s most games....defense is a MUST.

If we’re in the mix for an NCAAT bid, that loss will not be held against us. Everyone will be aware of that frickery.

Much easier to protest a conference game than a tournament in the Cayman Islands.

That is still the worst decision I've ever seen, there were only 2 possible decisions and that wasn't one of them. You either go with the play despite the clock error or you reset the clock and we run the play again. I've seen both of these happen several times, but never timing the play and assume the clock would have run out(it would of, but the original shot would have probably been put up earlier which would have left enough time for the put back)

Not when they only hit 40% from the free throw line

I doubt that. Tournament committee routinely sticks it to LSU with seedings and matchups.

wow, so the March Madness Committee hates LSU. So does the SEC, referees, and ESPN.

It's a deep-state, nefarious plot.

Or, maybe it's just homer LSU fans who are so emotionally blinded that they see insult everywhere.

Take one big giant step back, take off the P&G glasses, and take a deep breath. You'll see the world more clearly, and you'll be much the better for it.

LSU basketball and the NCAA have a near 40 year adversarial relationship dating back to Dale Brown. They conspired with another coach to set Brown up on a false violation that ended up in his termination/retirement and us on probation. And then we’ve all witnessed Wade being singled out in the midst of other, more high profile coaches doing worse yet facing no consequences. We’ve seen the head scratching seeding anytime we’re in post season play, the officiating even at home vs rent a win competition in a lot of instances. This has gone on for decades, the only way to not understand the history is to either not have witnessed it or to believe everything from the NCAA is above board.

The rules specifically state that the clock error should be fixed before the next inbounds, as in AFTER the made basket.

It's not about being undefeated
It's about your NET ranking
Even with one loss LSU's net is in the 80's which means you will have to do serious work in the SEC to make it
Wade would schedule according to the NET and even with 2/3 non conf losses the NET was still usually in the 40's
