Was thinking about LSU putting Mike the Tiger in the old Trailer cage and driving him around the inside of the stadium during pre-game.
I found these pictures on the internet.
Pic of Mike Archer and Mike the Tiger at the Mardi Gras Parade in 1984.
So apparently LSU borrowed a baby Tiger from the Miami Zoo for the 1971 Orange Bowl Parade and allowed a coed to "hold that tiger" for the Car Ride
and they took it to the game to meet the team
where it decided to attack the LSU Mascot
quote:
The Tiger mascot stopped traveling with the LSU team in 1970 when his cage overturned on Airline Highway in an accident enroute to a game.
Mike IV traveled on multiple occasions, as he appeared at a Mardi Gras parade in 1984, the 1985 Sugar Bowl and two LSU’s basketball games in the Louisiana Superdome. Mike V made his first road trip in December 1991 to the Louisiana Superdome to witness the LSU men’s basketball team with Shaquille O’Neal defeat Texas, 84-83.

I am thinking about my man driving that car with a stoned 20year old coed holding a 50lb Tiger Cub right behind him and it makes me think of this

First pic looks like a BYU game.

Chalk up another victory for the libtard Army. Anything remotely fun is brought out onto E. Boyd and put out o pasture. No reason we can’t put Mike in a luxury 18 wheeler with plexiglass and parade him around the field
DRIVEMAN OUT

100% This.
Seeing Mike II, III, IV; loop the stadium was a great experience inside the stadium.

Is that Mike Archer riding in the back of that pickup in Picture 2?
ETA: O.K. just saw the caption.
Making the head coach ride in the back of a pickup, wtf.

Dr. David Baker's charge is to act in Mike's best interest.
Not the Athletic Dept.
Not the fans.
Not protesters.
He's doing his job. Extremely well.

People got soft. It’s really depressing.
Also like the previous poster said, just don’t shoot fireworks with the tiger in the stadium. Problem solved.

Well, if that picture was truly taken in 1984, then he wasn't the head coach. Archer wasn't the head coach until 1987.

It’s a fricking shame and the destruction of one of the greatest traditions in college football that he’s not on the sidelines at the beginning of the game
Everything woke turns to shite.
Should have told peta snd the activists types to frick off.

As far as Mike ever going to games again, vent if it makes y'all feel better, but that ship has sailed and it's not coming back. We're very fortunate to have a live mascot at all, and the only way we're going to keep him is by not doing things like pulling him around in a trailer at games.
