How many other fields have ever marked the 5 yard lines as well? I went back to a game from last year to make sure I just didn't miss it, and I guess with the new surface they decided to make it standard

I don’t think that is the final form we’ll see on game day

Hopefully thats not finished. Because TS should 100000% have numbers every 5.

ETA: Its obviously not finished.

Maybe not, but Doucet posted it this morning as they were doing the media run through for next weekend.

I would be furious if this were true. But the field obviously isn't finished yet. There isn't a midfield insignia and the endzones haven't been painted. The directional arrows are also absent from the numbers.

Maybe too much work to do the 5 yard marks for the scrimmages, so they kept it simple?

The 2018 Spring Game had them marked, but perhaps because it was televised.

The stuff people get "furious" about is astonishing.

Not complete. There are no arrows pointing to the end zone. Plus I think the numbers would be bigger if they were not making room for the 5’s in between.

No way they keep it at 10 yards. The five yard markers are part of what make Tiger Stadium unique. Also the H style goal posts

5 yard markers are part of what makes Tiger Stadium unique. Even opposing fans appreciate this nuance. This must be scrimmage paint.

They just aren’t making the grounds crew paint the 5 yards markers for scrimmages.
