Every other year it's the same thing. Home cooking refs. They used to play in Mobile back in the sixties.

Why? We don’t do poorly in Tuscaloosa.

It's still going to be SEC refs at a neutral site. Maybe we should not start crying about, and blaming, refs 4 days before the games even played.

Do you realize the economic impact these games have? I wish they’d cut all the nfl stadium games out but I do understand the value of kids getting to play on those fields.

I don't remember the games between Bama and LSU being played in Mobile. I remember the games being played in Birmingham. Before Bama updated their stadium, I remember their home games being played at Legion Field in Birmingham. I also remember that the Mississippi State game was played in Tiger Stadium every year. I also remember that when we played Ole Miss away, that game was always played in Jackson. We played Rice and Baylor at home every year. If I remember correctly, A&M was played at home every year too. I was a student at LSU and went to the Ole Miss game in Jackson where LSU suffered its only loss of the season. After the game, the ride back to Baton Rouge was depressing. LSU didn't go bowling that season. I think not going to a bowl game involved Notre Dame. I think that Notre Dame didn't go bowling and they changed that policy by accepting a bowl invite and LSU sat home and didn't go bowling.

So you would be willing to give up an atmosphere like last year?

Come on man

You realize we have a better record against them there than we do at tiger stadium in the last 20 years?

Mobile? Shreveport? That is absurd. Those stadia are TINY and both schools would lose money EVERY year.

I do think we played Bama in Mobile one time in the 1950s but not since then.

No way. Look at the atmosphere last year in BR. We beat them in 2019 at their place and we tried to give it to them with many long plays, punt return, etc... We should have beat them down by 20.

Refs will be mostly for them at a neutral site anyway, so why not play in these 2 awesome stadiums and make a local impact on Louisiana and Alabama businesses.

Where do you idiots come from?

Bama in Baton Rouge is top notch.

Tuscaloosa is my favorite away place. It’s always an amazing atmosphere when it’s LSU.

And Bama never played in Mobile. They played in Birmingham vs Auburn, and most of their big games until the late 80’s.

Seriously, it should be the other way around, UGA and Fla should play on campus, so should Texas and OU, we should have played FSU home and home. College games should be on campus.
