Total BS, and they will just expand it more if they feel like it. This isn’t about giving us fans the best product or rewarding a true champion. This is only about making money and they know idiots like us will watch every game and they will make billions over time

Nobody in the league wants to play South Carolina right now and they would be the best 3-loss team if they beat Clemson. Sadly they lost to both Bama and Ole Miss and you know the media wants the Bama 1 -year post-Nick story.

I stated several times last year that it would take 3 losses or more to eliminate Bama from the playoff and I was called a pussy repeatedly.

I haven't been following - or either or both of them ranked in the top 11 of the committee's (or whatever they call it) rankings?
Ole Miss played the weakest OOC schedule in the SEC and they lost to 3 teams with 4 losses or more, including to a bad, bad Kentucky team at home. I don't see a path for them.
Bama put up better wins and played a tougher (thought still weak) OOC slate but I still think it more unlikely than likely for them to get in with 3 losses.

Yes they will. They will wedge them in there as soon as they can. If it comes down to Ole Miss or Bama, it will be Gumps. We had our chance sitting at the top of the conference halfway through the aTm game and crapped in our mess kit since then. We had it right there for us to snatch! Oh what could have been eh?

What about when a 6 seed wins the NCAA tourney, do they not deserve it? What about when a 9-7 NY Giants win the superbowl (2012). Do they not deserve it? I'm not advocating for Bama to be in, they haven't played well enough to warrant it...but to say that a 3 loss team doesn't deserve it is just wrong. LSU might have been that 3 loss team had we taken care of business and won out....

Only if all else is equal. This isn't a situation where Bama beat USCe who beat Ole Miss who beat Bama.
USCe lost to both Bama and Ole Miss and the Clemson team USCe will hang hat on, if they win, got smoked by a UGA team that lost to both Bama and Ole Miss.
USCe needs Bama or Ole Miss to lose this weekend to have shot at getting into playoff.
